after unsuccessful finger prints

I would appreciate if anyone could advise us what to expect after failed finger printing attempts. I am not sure how one can get any police report from home country if the applicant is in the US and cannot leave till GC process is complete. We had applied I-130 and I-485 together in May 2012 but have not had any progress in status expect for being asked to get bio-metrics three times. Thanks very much.

this is strange. I am sure there has to be another way to get biometrics from people in near similar situation afterall we have amputees . people with burn injuries...so how do they overcome this hurdle.ask to speak with someone higher in authority and state ur concerns.

Thanks for the response. It is strange and may not be unusual for older applicants. In general USCIS may use that as one other hurdle rather than address and resolve it to make it easier! I wish there is an alternate process for those who cannot successfully br fingerprinted.
