*** Moving from Bringing Family to Travelling During US immigration ****

In short: no. Traveling/ visa requirements depend on your country of citizenship in almost all cases. That being said, getting said visa may be much easier for, say, a Nigerian greencard holder than someone currently living in Nigeria.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Also, if an LPR were to *move* to Italy, that would be considered abandonment of US permanent residency and they would lose the green card. A visit is okay, but as described above it would require a visa.
