I've already posted this question in another thread but after posting it I realized I can proabably post it here and hopefully someone will be able to answer my question.

I know k3 is rarely given and is administratively closed at NVC, BUT I lucked out as our I-130 petition failed to get there before our I-129F, therefore our k3 route is aliveeeeee and it's on its way to the consulate.

since not many ppl were given k3 visas in the last few years I couldn't find any info, is the packet3 and 4 similar to that of K1 visas? what do they contain? I know in packet3 they want the affidavit of support and all that stuff but I'm not sure what the other packet contains, do they let you know about your interview date in packet4? and lastly do they schedule the interview themselves or the applicant does like K1 visa applicants?

I appreciate any help that can be given....thanks
