Hello, my wife is a greencard holder now her daughter is with us in the U.S and we have filed the AOS and everything. today we have recieved an approval for Parole to travel.

We want to know are we getting an ID Card (greencard) from USCIS or what? And we would like to know also when can we apply for child's SS number?

You've revealed too little information for anyone to answer you in any kind of detail...

So, yes, your wife's daughter will eventually get a greencard. (that's the basic answer given the basic info you've provided).

You're spreading a rumour that there's an AP document floating around somewhere. Take a hard look at it - see if it's the combo AP/EAD card, instead of just the AP document.

If it's the combo AP/EAD card - Eureka ! Can get into the SSA office, apply for SSN.

i did file all three forms the permit to travel, aos and ead. but we only recieve this approval for travel.

yes just a letter saying parole was approved and a picture of the child.

the child is not going to get a work auth card as child are not allowed to work in the us due to child labor laws.

yup. From what I can tell they dont issue EADs to minors. Youre just going to have to wait for the GC to get the SS#. Seems like anyone who applied only recieved back that AP paper for travel and not an actual EAD card cause like I said a 5 yr old has no need for an EAD card- child labor laws and such not.

Feel free to make an infopass apt though if you want or call and speak to a tier 2 rep/ not the regular cust service rep as they cant help you.

For taxes you will need an ITIN for the child if youre going to claim her and she has no SS#, check out the irs website for more info.
