Please watch your tongue before you talk. Remember it's USCIS giving alien people's right to immigrate to USA. The way you talk is rude and unacceptable.

Nothing is perfect. If you are prefect, you wouldn't have made a post like the way you did. All you should do is to contact USCIS and ask if the address can be changed.

Could the weather down there be a factor if the office isn't open by now? Just wondering. Hang in there girl.

Here was the email I got yesterday:

Thank you for contacting Senator Blumenthal regarding the immigrant visa application you submitted for your husband. Senator Blumenthal asked me to email you because I assist him with immigration matters.

I checked on the immigrant visa application you submitted for your husband and was told the address was changed on December 12, 2012 to reflect your husband having a CT address in Madison. Please let me know if this is correct because if he is abroad and his I-130 gets approved with a CT address, then you’d have to file another application to get the file relocated to the Embassy. If he is in the U.S. please let me know ASAP. Also, if he is in the U.S., please let me know how he entered just to make sure he would be eligible to adjust his status, ie. If he entered under the visa waiver program, he cannot adjust his status.

omg this is insane!!! :bonk: I would be furious too

Well, I got through finally to a CSR, but she said that their system was down and they couldn't transfer me to a supervisor (which is what the second CSR told me last night). She said try back in 3 hours.

Ok Nola we are in the same boat! I got an email yesterday saying that they received the change of address for my husbands removal of conditions for his permanent residency. We did NOT send one in!!! Was on the phone with an agent 3 separate times yesterday and was on hold for over an hour waiting for an IO. Never got through. Was told their phone systems that transfers was down. No where could the agent see where the address change came from but it was there. (news to us!!!) Also we had also put in a service request for being out of the time frame for his I-751. It was originally sent in February 2012 and got a RFE in October 2012, sent in the response for the RFE in November 2012 and NOTHING else!!!

The agent said that they do not see any service request even though I have a referral ID # for it!!!!

I was told to call back after 1pm EST because the IOs were on their lunch break. If I get the IO that was so rude when I first called about being out of the time frame I'm going to scream!!!!

This is so frustrating because now they cannot see anything with our file!!!!

ARGHHHH!!!!

I hope you were able to get through!!! We finally got through to an tier 2 officer!!! After alot of running around the bush.....FINALLY I got her to admit that it was an ERROR on their part sending out the email stating that there was an address change submitted!!! AND to top it off in the email it said we would be given an appointment for his biometrics!!!! SERIOUSLY???? He did biometrics LAST APRIL!!!! The officer tried to call it everything but what it was. AN ERROR! I finally got her cornered by saying that how could an email be sent out on our case file unless it was inputted by someone who may have "accidently" typed in the wrong case file number???? Then did she say yes, it was an error.

SO I in turn said since it was an actual error on the USCIS part, shouldn't his case be expidited????? She said yes but as of right now you have a service request on the case because of being outside of the time frame for the RFE response! HA should have known something else to stop it!! I did find out that the service response has a target date of 02/02/13 and as of right now it is still sitting in the VSC waiting to be assigned to an officer to go over the RFE response that I sent in over 2 months ago!!!!! WHAT??? I also got an email saying that it was being sent to a local field office!!!! SOOO the truth came out!! It's still sitting there!!

Well once we get past 02/02/13 and not hear a thing I will be calling back for an expidition!!!!!!! :bonk: :bonk:
