travel outside US while waiting for the the 10 yr GC

I was wondering if you can travel outside the US while you are filing for Removal of COndition in order to obtain the 10 year green card.

Can you?

When you file for ROC, you receive a letter extending your GC for one year. That enables you to continue traveling as before. However, some members here have experienced some difficulties with this so the countries you are planning to visit should be researched. Keep in mind ( I do not know where you are in the process) you may be called for a biometrics or an interview, neither of which you want to miss.

Just to clarify: No member has had any trouble using the GC and original extension letter to travel. Many are fearful they will have problems and insist it is the case, but when they actually do it, no one comes back to say there were problems.

I am a bit nervous about traveling to visit my dad in Spain, hopefully with all the evidence that i'll bring with me they dont give me a hard time...
