The form asks for original signatures... but how do I get an original signature from my fiance when he is 1/2 way around the world??? Do original signatures sent electronically after being scanned still count as original?

Do not scan, copy or take picture of the form. your betterhalf will have to print the form from his/her end fill it up, sign it and mail it to you. Any other way means RFE. Good luck to both of you.

Original signatures must be on the G-325A and letter of intent. A passport photo is also needed from the foreign fiance(e). Emailed or scanned copies are not accepted. Your fiance(e) needs to mail the documents to you in order for you to include them with your I-129F petition.

Use express mailing of some sort then it will not take so long and less likely for it to get lost.

Black is fine. We used black for all signatures with no problems. Just make sure it is imprinted enough to not be mistaken for a photocopy.

The g325 I faxed to my fiancée when she signed it and faxed it back the entire form shrunk centered. I was told faxing was allowed...

Who told you that faxed versions were allowed? Original signatures mean original, not copied signatures. You may receive an RFE for one or both. Have her sign new ones and mail them to you to have ready just in case.

Sorry double post, I called congressman's office

congressman don't have anything to do with this.. have her/him send the form with their signature.. INCASE they either send back your package.. OR they RFE..

be more careful with your paperwork next time.. there are no shortcuts in the process.. so try not to deviate from the guides listed here..

and can lead to more problems and slow down the process

good luck
