It's not that they don't understand the culture of FSU women or Asian women, they don't understand women and a lot of times lack intellect & or common sense. Look at this...

No, I think they honestly don't understand what they are getting into with their spouse's culture. All they know is stereotypes and they believe a woman from X culture will be groomed correctly to cater to a man's every need (as it should be). I do agree with you that a lot of them are just morons in general, which is why they are so easily suckered into buying that hook, line, and sinker. Then the country shopping starts full-swing, if they don't write off marrying women completely in favor of call girls and maids.

And those are exactly the kind of men being targeted by this thread. Men who are looking for a submissive, baby popping, barefoot housewife that they can easily manipulate and control. Not every man who marries a woman from Russia or the Far East is a knuckledragger by any means, but those countries undeniably attract the interest of that kind of man, bitter at Western women for whatever reason. Like I said, I've been here for years and know very well that the ultra-submissive stereotypes given to Eastern women very often are not true and I think the wailing disappointment that comes from men expecting a certain type of woman by virtue of her simply being non-Western is amusing.

I figure empty barrels make the most noise. The ones saying Oh my woman does this or that are sitting in front of a TV watching GSN all day and eating leftovers 4 times a week because their lady has to do a 9-5 like everybody else. Yet as soon as their finger touch the keyboard it's a whole fantasy of who they'd like their wife to be or what they want others to think. Plus some of these guys are still stuck in high school where they try to say funny things so they get cool points. I wonder still if these wives know that it's a habit of their husbands to talk about them the way they do?

My boss at work used to jokily complain that his mum ruined his mail-order filipina bride. When he went to visit her and her family in the Philippines she asked how he took his coffee at the first meeting and then the 2nd meeting on she had it ready seconds after she asked him if he wanted a drink. He gets her back to Canada and the first visit by his mum to their home, she tells her “no, no, sweetie, we don’t do that in Canada. He can get his own coffee - you sit down and visit with me and he can get your coffee as well.”

That being said he loves his wife to death (been married happily for over 20 years).

My coworker told a similar story about his South Korean wife. She is very submissive; what he says is pretty much law to her. Example: she planned a whole night with him out and about as a surprise, but when he came home and said he was gonna watch a movie and make himself dinner, she was just like, "Oh, okay." He's not a rude guy though lol, he just didn't know that's what she was planning.

When they are walking together, instead of walking at his side, she sort of drops back behind him and follows wherever he goes. He always encourages her to be a lot more vocal and independent, but it's hard for her.

My wife...pfft. Bulgarian women don't give a flying fornication if you are male and they are female, they will tear you apart if you try to order them around lol. My wife genuinely enjoys taking care of me, so I'm thankful for it, but I know for a fact if I ever tried to give her an order, I would be singing soprano in less than a second.

I am the USC.

The member "Khaleesi" is my beautiful wife.

That's true for some of them, I am sure. I think more of than the men then don't have jobs and that is where the frustration comes in. They are conflicted in that they don't want to give up the wife's money, but they don't want to compromise on doing any housework either because that's wimmin's work. So the house gets to be a mess and no one cooks and off to the internet to post about evil women and their careers ruining society. Ideally, she'd give up her job to wait on him hand and foot. In reality, he can't fathom the idea because he is so used to the additional money. But it is still worth it to vent on the internet about what could have been.

...That didn't happen because the ex was American, it happened because the laws of America allow for the opportunity. What these sports car owners fail to get is whether their model is eastern European or Asian, once on American soil they will cause as much headaches as these Dodge minivans if they so choose. Yeah a Filipina in the Philippines will likely be the wife you think/society thinks she should be but put her in America where the rules to the game change & can be easily manipulated in her favour and these guys can end up being creamed on the playing field.

PS some of these sports cars are just carts with tricked out wheels, sorry.

Wow, did you ever miss the point and do an awful lot of assuming. But I've noticed you appear to live in a fantasy life of your own assumptions about everyone here. My ex thought she was entitled, she found out very differently because of the laws. She made some of the very same biased assumptions of being entitled to control everything the marriage to. My state happens to have very fair and unbiased divorce laws, that do not allow either party to take advantage of the other. A lot of people here waste time on lawyers trying to get more than they deserve, only to discover they'll get half the assets and half the debts generated during the marriage in a divorce every time. Heck for a few years they even totally removed spousal support of any kind from the law, then realized spouses that could not support themselves needed some type of aid for a limited time to get on their feet again. But TV hype has women believing they should get the world and be responsible for nothing in a divorce. I've had many female friends walk away from divorce court shocked and pissed after the reality of the law here was given to them in a decree. And their ex husbands didn't have to pay for their ex-wives lawyers either.

To tell you the truth I don't see how that bit about your ex fits in with the topic at hand of referring to foreign wives as possessions. Maybe you need to help me connect the dots.

That's why I don't let my wife associate with American women. :innocent:
