Can somebody explain what we receive in the DS-230 Packet from NVC Oncehe immigrant Visa fee bill is processed.

Questions I have is as follows:

1. Do I need to send the DS-230 Part 1 Sent by NVC for the beneficary signature before mailing back to NVC?

2. Can I sign the DS- 230 ( in place of her) as she appointed me as her choice of agent?

3. Do I need to send a notarized copy of beneficary passport page? or Just a copy is fine?

Anything else which I am missing.. Pl let me know.

06/22/2006 - NOA1

11/14/2006 - I129F APPROVED ! Email Notification Received !!!

11/21/2006 - NVC Receives file and assigns Case #

12/25/2006 -- Packet 3 for K-3 received

01/31/2007 - Chennai consulate interview

Called Consulate in the first week of Januaray 2007 to get an CR1 Interview in the place of K-3 appointment. Approved by consulate.

01/23/2007 -- Packet 4 received ( Cr1)

01/31/2007 -- CR1 Approved.

If you are only required to submit the DS-230 part one you can see the packet HERE

The DS-230 needs the original signature of the applicant that is applying for the visa.

The photo copy of the biograpics page of the passport does not need to be notorized.

Thank U for your help Aussie Wench but need further help ...

1. I have a signed DS-230 part 1 ( from the beneficary) .. Can I fill the application and send out? ( if I do that how to keep all the bar code stuff if any on DS-230 Form)

2. I am sure when you say biographic page .. (its not G-325A) .....

U mean It is the first two pages of Beneficary passport ( which has all the benficary Biographic information .. right?)

There is no bar code on the actual DS-230, only on the cover sheet. See James Shortcuts for generating the bar code.

Yes by biographic pages, it is referring to the passport.
