Hello,

I am in a very difficult situation and any help will be truly appreciated. I came to US as a F1 student and never been out of status. I married my girlfriend ( USC )and applied for AOS in July 2012, before my OPT expired. My application went smoothly and I received my EAD card on October and I am expecting my AOS interview letter to arrive anytime soon. Everything was going smoothly but unfortunately, wife and I got into a heated discussion two weeks ago.I have tried everything from my side to make things work out between us. But she does not want to be in this relation at all and said that she is going to file for the divorce and will not go to the AOS interview as well. Now in this situation what options are there for me to maintain my status? Can I go back to F1 status while my AOS is still pending? Or do I have any other options to maintain my status. Thank you very much for any help.
