Hello, I would like to bring someone overseas to work at my company and would like to petition by using the I-140 form. That person will be coming as a Professional that has a Bachelors Degree. I would like to know what other documents that she needs to complete and want to know how would it take to process. One more thing, I would like to pay her by compensation, not by the hour. The I-140 is asking for a salary but not too sure about that since I have a different approach. I may change it but need to be sure. Thanks

It would be unusual for a Professional to be paid by the hour.

Assuming you are talking about an H1b your Lawyer would file 1st April for a 1st October start.

You are not a non profit are you?

Not planning to hire a lawyer to file the paper work. I own an IT Company so I'm for-profit.

I would suggest you re consider, it would be extremely unusual for a Lawyer not to handle such a case.
