More good news from Vermont

Although widely touted by fascists wishing to suppress human rights, the so-called "assault weapons ban" which was "passed" by the Burlington City Council was never anything more than a resolution to request the State legislature to implement a city charter change to allow the city to supress human rights and confiscate private property.

This was too much for most fascists to understand so they just reported an "assault weapons ban" had been passed within the country's most liberal, freedom loving (and safest) state. As usual, they lied.

The request has now been withdrawn from the state legislature.

In similar news, a fascist State Senator, Philip Baruth, had introduced legislation to oppress human rights state wide. It has also been withdrawn. Philip Baruth is in his last term as a State Senator in Vermont.

Vermont, the nations most liberal state, the state that elected a Socialist, Bernie Sanders, to the US Senate to replace a Republican fascist that had voted for the non-ban assault weapons ban in 1994, does not tolerate the supression of human rights.

The state allows freedom for all...even married, Jewish, black/hispanic gay and lesbian men/women can carry concealed firearms and own assault weapons. It does not have a permit system that could possibly be abused by fascists to deny concealed carry permits to "certain people". ANYONE can carry concealed and are welcome to do so. Vermont has consistently had the lowest crime rate in the country. Criminals prefer unarmed victims and they have no idea who is armed or unarmed in Vermont. Bummer. They CAN, however take a quick ferry ride across the lake to New York where the racist system in place denies carry permits to almost everyone and results in a much higher crime rate...which translates to "safety for criminals"

Along with there being not enough support for national oppression of human rights, and the impending reversal of state human rights violations...there will be no new gun laws in Vermont.
