Took my wife and daughter to Bush Gardens today so we didn't have a chance to watch the inauguration. Interesting thing, though. Earlier this morning before we left home, it was inauguration coverage on channel 8 (NBC), channel 10 (CBS) and channel 28 (ABC). The only channel where they ran regular American programming - which is to say Kenyan free programming - was channel 13 (FOX). No kidding. People watching the local Fox channel this morning would never know that the inauguration took place today.

Actually, it is the one way in which I am finding joy in being in Denmark.... my Obama exposure is kept to a minimum. Although, with that comes PM Helle who seems to hate educated SAHMs. Screw you Helle!

I'm not sure why any of the network channels would run it live. You can see it live on any of the news channels I'm sure. Also, I'm sure it will be the lead story on the all the network news programs tonight.

I know I'd be pi$$ed if they pre-empted Jerry Springer or Maury with some B.S. govt. stuff.
