Failing the civics test

Failing to prove relationship (rare really)

Breaking the law in a manner to make them ineligible

There are many reasons. What is your concern?

Sending in your N-400 application in one day too soon. Depends on what stage you are in. Really don't want to lie on your application, can end up in deportation.

I know a couple of people who sent it in too early (thinking 3 months before anniversary rather than 90 days).

I know a couple of people who got denied because they failed the English or civics test (yes, it happens!).

I know one person who had their approval delayed because they didn't bring birthcert of a child born during the 3 years marriage in the USA, and another who didn't bring any proof of living together with the US husband.
