Well of course they will deny it, but the same month they started accepting over 500,000 new Deferred Service applications, the processing times doubled (from 90 days a year ago).

applications are processed by the same service center but different departments.

Too sad :(

As we've been waiting 190 days our Attorney called CSC today to get a service request and this was the answer:

CSC: Contacted USCIS this morning and  I was able to speak to an actual officer and he told me that they are behind the normal processing time and it will take about another 36 days to receive a response or decision. Unfortunately, he is not able to do a service request at this time. I also asked if the deferred action process had anything to do with the delay and the officer said no. The different applications are processed by the same service center but different departments.

Too sad :(

there was no approval yesterday or today

Just got off the phone with the CSC. exactly a month ago I called about the status of my K1 visa Filed on July 26th. At that time I was told they were a little behind schedule and to call back in 9 days. Reading the forums here on Visa Journey I held back on calling since every one here seemed to be posting the same information. I just assumed our day would come. Now that 6 month and a few days have passed I called them today. First of all I must say the Customer Service agent was very nice and tried to be helpful. She told me that they were processing applications from July 17th and could not put a service request in for me for another 9 days. When I told her this was the exact information I was told a month ago she sounded a little shocked. She told me she had no other information and said she knew this was a very stressful time. If there is a valid reason for this delay I would be disappointed but understanding. What upsets me the most is there is an issue going on at the service center but they are not giving this information to the public. There has been no approvals here on Visa Journey for the past 6 days! What is going on??? Rant over!!!!

Few questions for people on here. I read a few people on here were able to request a service request. What did you have to do for them to put the request in for you??

Is there any way to talk to a person who is at the CSC not just a representative who would have more information?

Hang in there every one!

Hello all,

I am going through the same thing everyone is, and things are slow, but I think it's important to not obsess over how long things are taking. They are getting approvals done, albeit slow. VisaJourney.com members are not the only people who submit I-129F applications... far from it. It will come, keep the faith.
