I read the gun wasn't loaded and it was just a protest. I'm sure if he was really gonna kill the guy he'd have pulled the trigger straight away and not have waited till security jumped on him.

I thought the politicians kicking and punching him was a bit much. Mob rule is never a good idea.

I think this is fake, or their security team is horrible. I saw the video on CNN, he actually ran on stage and tried to shoot him.

Not a theory, but think about it, this man actually ran up on stage pulled a gun, squeezed one off before anyone was able to get on him. Could be a political ploy, like in the movie The Interpreter, or they just have bad security.

Or, it hasn't happened before and was considered so unlikely that nobody thought too much about it. But you can bet it won't happen twice.

Assassins don't deserve any better. The fact that this was too stupid to actually pull it off doesn't change that.

I agree with you, but why limit mob justice to just that?

How about people who kill kids or old folks or defense less ladies ?

If a rapist gets caught in the act by a sufficiently motivated crowd, I'd suspect the rapist wouldn't make it and no-one in the crowd would be charged. I'd be okay with that.
