The case, brought in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida (CV-26-22PRL), alleges that under the Federal Advisory Committee Act Defendants had a duty to the American people to provide at least 15 days notice to the public of the meetings which Biden has been chairing to recommend so called gun control measures following the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Klayman emphasized: "In their zeal to use this tragedy for political purposes and to try to ram quickly increased legislative gun control measures, if not gun confiscation and/or significant infringement through executive order, down the throats of the American people – in violation of Second Amendment rights – President Obama and Vice President Biden have thumbed their nose at the law and instead been holding closed door meetings with special interest lobbyists on both sides of the issue.

In that case future victims of gun massacres should get 15 days notice that they are about to die!

Wouldn't that be the wrong venue? I believe those type of suits have to filed with the D.C. District Court. Sounds like somebody went judge-shopping.

Yeah I noticed both parties are DC based. Not sure why its in Florida.

Truth ain't always nice but it's still the truth. This isn't going anywhere. Just as the birther lawsuits. I wonder if this loser filed one of those back in the days. If not, I am sure he wishes he had.

Well its pretty clear cut. Either they provided the 15 day notice or they did not.

Nothing is going to happen. The executive orders stand and Congress will do whatever Congress will do - which may be nothing at all. But hey, if it makes the fella feel better to have filed the suit, no problem. It's his time that he's wasting not mine.

If the administration did not provide the necessary notice something will have to happen legally...perhaps nothing of any consequence....

If history repeats itself, the minutes from the meetings might possibly be made public, or not, that issue has not been decided:

Klayman earlier took the White House to task over a nearly identical issue: an advisory committee assembled by Obama to advise him on the new tax requirements in Obamacare.

The case, before U.S. District Judge Richard W. Roberts, remains in the courts.

Klayman is challenging Obama to provide details about White House advisory groups that worked for Obama. The case was brought over the Obama Health Reform De Facto Advisory Committee and whether the White House complied with the Federal Advisory Committee Act in consulting with lobbying groups and industry interests in creating the Obamacare tax plan.

The judge said some claims over the compliance were dismissed as moot as the advisory group no longer met once Obamacare's taxes were adopted by Congress. But he said remaining is the claim for minutes of the committee's past meetings.

When Obama wanted the case dismissed, the judge said Freedom Watch's argument that the information about the committee's past meetings is sparse "had merit."

However, as far as the rest, it looks like he is just grandstanding, again.

Yeah I was aware about the previous case. Meeting minutes are probably non consequential unless someone said something they would rather not be public.

No kidding, I mean if Holder skated on the gun running thing which cost uncountable numbers of lives (including Americans) what makes anyone think this small potatoes is going anywhere.

Voting for 3rd party losers has consequences.
