ya, the I-485 notice is the one alluding to the approval and subsequent green card issuance.

Yay !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thank you, still smiling :)

Thank you :D

You'll get an extra loads of happiness when it arrives in the mail....you'll be jumping up and down and big a huge kiss to your green card! :) When I've got approved it hasn't really sunk in yet at that time as I was on F1 visa, and although I got approved on the spot at the interview, the same day I still had to run to classes, study at home, go back to classes the next day and so on. So I was happy, but I did not feel anything changed in my situation. Then my card arrived, I've got super duper happy as that's when it really hit me what just happened. :) The next day I walked to our office and spoke to the residence deputy and he changed my status and told me all about it, and that's when I felt the actually "approval of my interview". I walked out and in my head I was like "WOW! I'm not on a visa anymore!!!" :) And although I am continuing my school and all that still today, but knowing I could always take a break and that I'm not heavily depend on the school to be able to be here is HUUUUGE! :) And now I'm looking at the calendar and all surprised that whatta heck, I just got my GC but next year I have to file for ROC. LOL That's a bit odd this way, since I've got my GC at the very end of last year, so within a couple weeks it became 2013 and that places me for "next year" of ROC (2014). Which seems soooooooooooooooooooo close comparing that one and a half month ago I did not have my GC yet. :) It's weird...but in a real good way! :) So, again, I can't wait to hear you've got your GC in the mail and that you'll be super duper happy again! :) Congratulations again! :)
