AOS Submitted

Well my wife arrived in August, we were married in October, and after the busy holidays, we finally mailed off the big old AOS packet today. Took a while here to find a civil surgeon who wouldn't rip us off filling in the I-693 form. Most wanted several hundred and claimed 100% we had to do a medical again. Crooks.

But it's finally done, was uber complete and organized, and hoping being in California maybe won't get stuck with an interview.

My wife recently completed the process and has her contitional residency card. We filed in Chicago and it was processed in Missouri (the I-129F was done at CSC), I am not sure how they decide who does the interview process but we did get interviewed. We were each questioned separately and our answers were compared. We did not have the same answers at times so we found as we compared our answers on the way home. Like my wife did not know the year of my truck but did know the year I bought it. Over all the questioning was easy, and no we did not do any type of preparation for being questioned.

Yeah I have no idea what percentage get interviewed. Not particularly worried about it, but it would be much preferred NOT to

I agree, I would have preferred not having to drive to the USICS office for the interview and they just mail my wife's card.
