Hi All,

I am in the process of filling out the I-129F petition. I will be having my Oath ceremony on 01/19/2013, and will be handing in my Alien Registration Card. In the process of filling out the I-129F and the G-325A, i came across sections that ask for the A#. I need advise on how to answer this. Do I put my A# in even though i will be giving up the card?

At the time you fill out the forms you will not have an A#. The correct answer is "NONE"

My wife became a citizen in April and filled out the I-130 a couple weeks later for her mother...no A# to report.

Thank you very much for the info.

Also, do i need to submit the G-325A and passport style photo of my Fiance when sending the I-129F? I see that she has to sign, and she isn't here to sign it.

Yes. Actually there is an internal directive memo that states she does not have to sign the G-325a for the petition but can request to do so at the interview. The problem is that so may adjudicators have not read the memo that it is frequently the source of an RFE and once an RFE is sent there is nothing to do but respond to it.

Get her to sign and send you some BLANK G-325a forms and you can fill them out. She can download and print the forms, sign them and send them to you. Discuss the information to fill in over the phone or skype.

I suggest you get original signatures not only on the G-325a but also on the letter of intent. SOME people have reported getting away with scanned signatures, others have reported RFEs for original signatures. I suggest going with original signatures.

Thank you again for all the info. She will sign it and mail it tomorrow.

Another question we have is, how do you present the pictures? Should we print them on Kodak paper? if so, do we give details on the back of each pictures, or can we just add them on a word document, and add details on the bottom of the pictures?
