Does anyone happen to know if the influenza and tdap vaccinations can be administered on the same day? Hubby is going for his medical exam at Knightsbridge Doctors on Monday and planned to get both done at the appointment. But it just struck me that this might be prohibited/more time might be required between these 2 vaccines?

Thank you!

I am not sure if they can be given at the same time. However, in it cannot be done, you don't need to go back there and get it done. You can find with your GP if he is able to provide you with the vaccination. Then you just forward to the Knitisbridge Doctors a proof of it.

Fantastic. Thank you!

I just found this too, which seems to confirm this bit about the non-live vaccine: (http://www.immunize.org/askexperts/experts_general.asp)

Influenza vaccine and Td (or Tdap) may be given at the same time or at any time before or after a dose of pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine. There are no minimum interval requirements between the doses of any inactivated vaccines.

Just an FYI folks: Hubby went for his medical exam today and got 3 vaccinations: MMR, influenza, and Tdap. The MMR he already had 2 doses of as a child, but the doctor at Knightsbridge today told him that he needed 3 doses to be considered 100% in compliance. I had never read or heard that elsewhere, but that's what the doc said and my husband decided to get the jab rather than risk an incomplete medical record.

Suggestion for UK Residents... you can get MMR and TDAP from your GP few days before you go for your medical.. it will save you £70-80 ..Nightbride doctor gave me influenza only...
