So I know a lot of people have had this problem, so I could do with some help!!

I got my interview date (hoorah) BUT they still want my Auz police check form, as I lived there for 2 years studying, I have given them that already!! I got a name and finger print check done with AFP, now they are asking for a state specific one for NSW/ QUEENSLAND. I have heard that they are confused and you don't need one, but it's got me worried that I will not get accepted at the interview if I don't have a NSW one . . . .any suggestions? Is the AFP police check the right one???

Thanks guys!! YOU have all got me this far!!

Have you looked at this page http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_5455.html?cid=8957

Find Australia in the drop down. Then scroll way down to the police certificate part. Sounds like what you did is correct since you no longer live in the country. I recall several going through London who never mentioned needing state specific reports. Fingerprints, yes. But you've done that. Who is asking you for more? I'm not following that part.

NVC originally asked for it, then processed everything saying it was fine. Now it's on my embassy check list . . .
