I used the i-864 and because my income doesn't meet the requirements.. my mom is a joint sponsor. She will NOT be living in the same household as where my husband and I will live. So we both did the i-864. I have to provide additional info to NVC for them to be able to finish the finanical evidence review...

in their letter one part of it says..

Please pay specific attention to the questions marked in the attached I-864/A checklist. You will need to

complete and submit a new form with the changes noted on the attached checklist.

Is that something generic... like either the I-864 or I-864A Checklist---depending on the person's situation????

General Instructions

[x] The checklist below indicates missing or incomplete documents.

Supporting Documents Missing or Incomplete

[x] It appears that there is no proof of current employment (a recently dated job letter or pay stub), or of

self-employment status (a recently dated letter on business letterhead or a business license).

I know I am reading into everything, but I just really want to get the approval and have our case sent to Sydney and the interview scheduled!!
