sorry i dont have any idea about CENOMAR but NBI clearance is valid for 1 year so you dont have to worry about it and no need to make an appointment for your husband he can go when time for your interview...

And.... there is absolutely no issue with your husband being at your interview he just walks in with you. I was with my wife at her interview.

And you got a CEMAR correct? Certificate of Marriage

Yes I have read that many times here on VJ for the IR/CR-1 visa, even though one was sent to NVC the CO does ask for one at the interview also.

So married couples need CEMAR, right? I am applying for a K1 visa and plan to schedule my interview anytime soon.. Do I still need CEMAR too plus my annulment papers? I heard some say I might need an annotated marriage contract too.. I wonder if CEMAR would be enough..

Being your marriage was annuled you can not get a CEMAR, NSO would issue you a CENOMAR.... at least you better hope they do or you can not get a K-1 visa. You do not need the annotated marriage contract for the embassy interview either, the CENOMAR will be adequate.

I would suggest you bring your annulment papers to St. Luke's during the medical as they may want to look at them.

There is a link to the K-1 visa process in my signature if that will help.

I guess CENOMAR is for single, in my case my status is annuled, others say I could not be issued a CENOMAR, cause its a certificate of no marriage. I had a previous marriage so its not possible I guess.. The CEMAR on the other hand is a record of marriage that tells how many times you contracted a marriage.. sorry I got a little confused :(

CENOMAR = Certificate of NO Marriage. Being you are not currently married you will get a CENOMAR, you may have been married before but you are not currently married and that is what the CENOMAR will show to the embassy.

Is a CEMAR required for CR-1 process? Or is this only for those who have been previously married?
