I wonder if male swans have really good fashion sense.

I hear they have a keen eye for interior design.

There are the Rock Hudsons and the Richard Simmons...so even masculinity and effemininity (sp) do not predetermine sexual orientation.

...even ones who become preachers and condemn it but secretly can't stay away from it's delights...

Haggard has condemned homosexuality, preaching that "we don't have to debate about what we should think about homosexual activity, it's written in the Bible."

Right. Then you won't mind if I marry my sister, or my dog?

do you want a man who is ostensibly gay to marry your sister in an attempt to try and live life like a heterosexual?

If he has decided to abandon his gay lifestyle then sure, no problem. If he wishes to continue his homosexual activities, then no, it would be a bad idea.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

hehehehe....that he's more effeminate than a lot of women. :P

Speaking of effeminate... does anyone remember Lyle, the effeminate heterosexual skit on SNL?

Gary, what would say to your son (assuming he's an adult) if he told you he was gay and he wants to marry the man he loves?

So are you saying Gay people have sex with the opposite sex but that doesn't make them heterosexual? Since when? That is a new definition for me.

I am saying that sexuality is not as simple as black and white. Not every male/male swan couple mate with females.

Look homosexuals are born out of heterosexual couple. As long as hetereosexual couples are reproducing, there will always be homosexuals. The only way you wipe out your species is when 100% of the offspring is homosexual. I think nature is smarter than that.

Or it's learned.

When did you LEARN to be heterosexual? Are heterosexual parents teaching their children to be homosexuals? How does homosexuality exist in nature if it is learned? Are animals learning this behavior? From where? Ask the gay community about sexual orientation. The most common answer willbe they are born they way. I guess they would know best about their own orientations.

Of course they say they were born that way. They want people to accept their lifestyle because it's they way they are, not the way they choose to live. That way they can spin this as a equal rights issue.

If it was legal in the state we are in then I have to accept the marriage as legal, but I would not accept his choice of lifestyle or his choice to have a gay lover. Just because you love your children does not mean you have to accept everything they do or every decision they make.

Granted, but what are you going to do? Not invite them over for Thanksgiving? When it's all said and done, it's really his choice is what I wanted to point out. You have a right to disagree with it, but it doesn't change who he is or who he marries.

People make a lot of choices despite the consequences. And no, I don't believe they deserve to be beaten or killed if you were about to go in that direction.

Of course they claim they knew they were homosexual from an early age. Otherwise they have to admit that it's a lifestyle choice, and they're not going to do that because it's a dumb move if you are trying to get social acceptance or changes in laws.

how do you explain twins where one is gay and one is straight?

To me saying you chose to be gay is like saying you chose to be white.

Of course even identical twins can choose different lifestyles. This actually helps support my argument. If it was a genetic predisposition then both identical twins would be straight or gay.

You only believe that saying you chose to be gay is like saying you chose your race because you've bought into the politically-correct argument that it's genetically predisposed and not just a personal preference.

This is a great political ploy if you can pull it off. Just get people to believe that your personal preference or lifestyle choice is genetically predisposed (I can't help it, I was born this way!), then make a comparison to racial issues. Some people will buy into that.

Ok, then let's pretend that homosexuality is a choice. How does that change anything? Discrimination is ok if someone has made a choice, but not ok if they were born that way? How about religious discrimination then? Religion is a choice. Therefore religious discrimination is ok? I'm not following.

Can't help what? There is nothing to help. They just are....it is just part of what they are....I am a straight white female. Someone else may be a gay white female or a gay black male. It is just a tiny part of the equation of who we are, I am not defined by my heterosexuality and I would not apologize or say I can't help it just as a gay person should not need to. Cuz it is nobodies business but our own who we chose to love (as long as it is legal so don't go ann NAMBLA on me).
