I just Emailed them to get my mnl no. after getting you're mnl no. get the DS2001 and DS230 off the internet fill out, email them back once they received the Forms DS-230 and DS-2001, updated the records of the case. you will be able to schedule the medical and interview.

I just did this last month. just received my packet 3 in the mail yesterday. after it all was done.

Hi, sts!

When did you email them to get your Manila Case No.? Was it after you filed your I-130 DCF and even before hearing from them? We filed last March 26, 2013 and the officer who entertained my husband said to wait for 13-19 days and we will hear from them. Can we just email them now? Thanks:)

Dave, how long did it take for your I-130 to get approved? I am trying to figure out how long I should wait before sending the first email asking if mine has been approved.

Mojoe, when did you file your I-130? Ours were filed last March 26, 2013. Did you hear from them yet?

this was there response:

We received the I-130 visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office at Embassy Manila on November 27, 2012, and sent the applicant an Instruction Package for Immigrant Visa Applicants Formerly Packet 3).

The Packet 3 includes a Biographic Data Form (DS-230I), which the applicant should complete and return to the Immigrant Visa Unit of the Embassy immediately. When the applicant has all the required documents, she should complete the information on the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form (DS-2001), sign it, and return it to the Embassy's Immigrant Visa Unit immediately. This notifies the Embassy that the applicant is prepared for the immigrant visa interview.

The applicant may also download the Biographic Data Form or Application For

Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration (Form DS-230I) from our website at http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html.

Attached is a scanned copy of Form DS-2001.

The documentation may be sent to the Embassy's Immigrant Visa Branch (Attn: Operations Unit) by fax at (632)301-2037 or 301-2591, or as a scanned email attachment at IVManilaAttachments@state.gov with the applicant’s complete name, case number, and current contact information clearly indicated.

Embassy Manila no longer sends Appointment Letters (Packet 4). Once we receive the DS-230I and DS-2001, we will send the applicant instructions on how to schedule a visa interview at the Embassy.

For reference, the applicant’s immigrant visa case number is MNL************
