putting up our pictures for I-129F

my fiance and i are assembling our I-129F and we're thinking of what to do with regards to arranging our pictures..

what he wants to do is: label at the back of our pictures (date, names of the people present at the picture and the location) then put it all inside a ziplock.

what i want to do is: have our pictures glued on a sheet of bondpaper (like 2 pictures each page) then have the labels below each picture.

thank you so much for your suggestions! God bless!

I've heard they've been returning the baggies with pictures in them. It is best to scan them and/or print them out on paper 2-4 a page labelled.

I printed 2 5x7 black and white photos on plain white paper. 6 photos total on 3 pages. Each photo very clear and in distinctly different locations with different time stamps and wearing different clothes. We chose very prominent and easy to recognize land marks for each photo. Each photo had a time stamp and each page had a description on the bottom. Our K-1 visa was approved today without any questions.

I guess it depends on who gets the case file because my sister got an RFE for doing this and ended up having to send in the actual photos.

This is my dilemma as well. Were torn between printing photos and writing captions at the back, putting all photos in a plastic bag of some sort... Or, in MS Word, i will paste all photos (since they are digital/soft copies) 2 photos in a page, type captions and print it out in a colored bond paper. Im confused what to do with the photos now.

Really? Im now confused whether to send printed photos or 2 photos pasted in each page in MS Word and then print it out. Less bulky in the packet and easier to check by the officer reviewing the application

A link that this forum will not let me post suggested real photos. Ugh. Google it. :(

They suggested putting real photos in labeled bags, with labelling on the back of each written by hand (with names, dates and locations). This is what I did.

We printed ours out on a crappy printer for the I-129F and it was approved.

More of the initial processing is being done at the various lockboxes. There, the filings are converted to electronic form, which means everything and anything is fed into an auto-feed scanner, and scanned, front and back. Things like glue and and tabs and sticky notes and staples and other fasteners have to be removed first, so the filer stands a good chance that vital piece of evidence may get destroyed in the process, before it reaches the scanner, or when it gets stuck in the feeder. With that foreknowledge, making sure everything in your filing is a standard size sheet of paper and unbound (or at least easy to undo) will speed the process for you, and everyone else.

Read all your replies and thank you for the links. I wont do the print stack of photos and place in a ziplock as what guidelines here in VJ suggested. Maybe before it works but as what people have been mentioning, they scan everything now so its really better and less hassle for them if we send glued photos in bond paper with captions. Or paste digital photo in MS Word, type captions and print out... no chances that photos be detached and or have to detach for the scanning.

Whats the best thing to do?

Thanks!

Since there were a couple people recently that had their photos returned that were simply sent in a baggie, I suggest you print out your photos on paper instead. Just put the captions of who is in them, date taken and where it was taken printed underneath each one.
