Does it count as two seperate posts in your post tally if you make a post and then reply to it and the board sticks the answer on the end of your first post? Let's find out.

My post tally is currently 2604 posts. Will it increase with this reply to myself?

And the short answer is NO it won't... I wondered why my post count was rising so slowly on the new board! You can't talk to yourself any more... or rather, you CAN but it doesn't count for anything.

It only counts if somebody else has come along and posted inbetween so you're replying to them. That'll slow things down!

I talk to the cats... I talk to the television... I talk to the air... it's only a problem if you expect a reply! And 'meow' doesn't count...

I only noticed it did that the other day, I don't know if I like that! :P

And what is up with not being able to see post counts on peoples profiles anymore?
