hello. How long usually the waiting time for EAD card after biometric?I have filed my AOS on dec 3rd 2012. I had my biometric on Dec 18 2012. Had no RFE on any of my documents, have interview appointment scheduled to February 15.2013. My EAD online status is still on Initial Review. How long it takes usually to get the card nowadays? When and whom should I call about it???Any suggestion would be greatly appreciate...

EAD/AP is "guaranteed" to be approved within 90 days of I-765/I-131 submission, if not delayed by RFE. It usually takes about 60 days. So you should expect them in early February. There's no point calling them about it until 90 days after submission - by which point, it sounds like you'll already have had your green card interview. It's possible you'll have your green card before the EAD/AP shows up, in which case you can either securely dispose of the EAD/AP when it arrives or just keep it as a keepsake.

It may sound like there wasn't much point in applying for EAD/AP, but you never know how long the green card approval will take. In your case you're lucky enough to have your interview scheduled less than 3 months from application. In my case it took 4 months and I was working on my EAD for a little while. Sometimes it takes 9 months + and then the EAD/AP is really useful.

My EAD arrived literally the day before my interview, so I expected it would be worthless.

Since I'm still waiting, it turns out that it wasn't.

I got mine in 59 days from the application date.

well we had hiccups and we were denied lol but in total it took 10 months for us so we dont count in a normal situation...but I hear anywhere from 30-60 days.
