ok, a little of our back ground. Sent in hubby's I-751 on 2/22/2012, Received a RFE for more evidence in October, 2012, responded with 2" worth of evidence with signature confirmation on 11/16/2012. I called today and put in a service request because of not hearing anything since sending in the RFE. We received an email today in reponse of the service request and this is what got me wondering if they are planning on scheduling an interview:

.

The status of this service request is:

A review of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicates that your biometric information is current, and it is not necessary for you to appear at an Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometrics appointment at this time. The biometrics fee will not be refunded. USCIS will contact you if updated biometric information or any other additional information is needed to process your petition.

Additionally, you or your representative called our office concerning your application or petition. After careful review of your request, it has been determined that your request for information on the processing of your case will be best addressed by the USCIS office having jurisdiction over your case. Therefore, we have taken the liberty of forwarding your service request, number T1F.XXX.XX.XXXXX.VSC to the Orlando Field Office.

They are forwarding the service request to the field office? Is this common or should we be preparing for some kind of interview?? Any insight will be greatly appreciated!!!

I'm sorry to say that u will have an interview. Bring all documents papers with u, and prepare urself. U and ur husband need to show up at the interview and talk naturally to the officer. I'm sure u guys will be fine and get approved after the interview. Do u have any child with him? I think it is better to bring the child as well (if u sent the child's info to VSC). Good luck. I remember u said u did the papers to bring ur husband from Egypt to here? When the spouse sponsors the other spouse from a foreign country to USA, it is a lil more difficult to get approved than both spouses live in the US. And Vermont Center is worse than California center.

I think you are correct on the interview. That's ok for me. We will bring everything that we need to have with us at an interview. No problem on there. No, we don't have a child together, I have a 16 year old son that in the RFE they asked if whether or not he adopted my son. I explained to them that though he is considered to be his emergency contact, there is no reason to spend money on adopting on someone who will be considered an adult in 2 years. Yes I did sponsor my husband over to the US.
