Has anyone have their AP approved or touched very recently?

The USCIS online system has just been updated to show that our AP was approved today. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we'll actually receive it before our departure on the 21st!

Best of luck to all the other AP waiting game sufferers -- your approvals shouldn't be far behind.

Hey everyone... my AP was touched (about 3pm) today but not approved yet. Does this mean they will have a decision soon? am1996, what time did they approve your AP? I'm eagerly waiting to plan for this Thanksgiving but can't till I know for sure. Maybe yours was touched before it was approved am1996? Which means... I will know today as well? I'm so excited since they finally touched it but not sure it will be approved in time for me. Please let me know!

The website showed the approval around 1:40pm today (I had checked it at 1:30pm and didn't see anything). Your "touch" sounds very promising! When are you guys supposed to fly out for the holidays?

8/16/06 Overnighted AOS and AP applications (no EAD, since I won't need it until next year).

8/17/06 Delivered at 12:44pm (Chicago lockbox).

8/24/06 All 3 checks cashed.

8/26/06 Received NOA. I485, I130 and I131 are online.

8/29/06 All 3 touched.

9/2/06 Biometrics appointment received.

9/5/06 I130 and I131 touched.

9/8/06 Biometrics completed.

9/8/06 I485 touched.

9/11/06 I485 touched.

11/14/06 AP approved.

11/15/06 AP touched.

11/20/06 AP received.

12/21/06 Confirmed that the name check has cleared.

1/5/07 I-765 (EAD) mailed out by certified mail (no rush).

1/10/07 I-765 delivered at 9:46am (Chicago lockbox).

1/16/07 Received NOA1 for I-765 (dated 1/10/07).

1/16/07 I-765 touched.

1/18/07 I-765 touched.

1/20/07 Biometrics scheduled for 1/31/07 (which I already completed on 9/8/06).

1/20/07 Interview scheduled for 3/20/07 at 8:00am.

1/20/07 I-765 touched (they're open on Saturdays?).

Yes, I was flooded by approval emails a minute or two after I saw the online approval notification.

Yes, I was flooded by approval emails a minute or two after I saw the online approval notification.

Well infopass was about worthless for me. All they could tell me is that it is pending. Like ummm... I didn't know that? USCIS personnel was able to give the me same information that I would have gotten online. I was like...can you call and check and she was like they don't do that there. This was in Atlanta office btw... most worthless thing I have ever done... I drove 2 hours to get there... and 2 hours back to get to work. So.. for anyone that use infopass to check status on their application... this might be huge YMMV. Anyway... I hope I get an answer sometime today.... only touched so far... fingers crossed.

My AP was approved yesterday! Yippi! But I just got the emails, so it takes them some time to send them out. No touches before that.

I got mine last night as well! Well... it was a long journey but it ends here. hehe... but I still don't have it in my hands... so I better wait till it arrives in the mail before making any plans.

Hi,

It seems like most AP are taking 10 wks from the date it was mailed. That would bring mine to 12/28/2006.

When I sent my AP I attached a letter explaining my reason for it (having a religous wedding in Greece on 12/22/06)......do you thijnk I will make it?

Would they speed things up for us?

Its no use if we don't make that date!!!

My wife AP has still not been approved. It was received on May 08 2006. that is what the latest message says at the uscis web site.

But I dont really care cause she has her green card.

Maybe they stop processing it cause she was approved for a green card.

My AP took 3.5 months and I wrote that I wanna go visit my elderly grandparents for Christmas, didn't expedite the case. I think you might not make it for Christmas and the wedding, I am so sorry!

But maybe you will get your Christmas miracle, I hope you will!
