hmmm interesting, or maybe is it because of the city someone is from that they put people on Ap example like if you live in the northern part of Pakistan near to the terrorist . My fiance is sindhi from Hyderadbad and we didnt get any AP..this is just my thoughts..

I believe there have been others from other cities, that like you say are not near the "Terroists" and have also been put on AP. So, I think that the comment is out of context.

Lol well thanks alot that's some hope! I really believe it has something to do with the area I'm not sure All i know is in every act is a reason of Allah. I'm sure what ever is being done is in our best interest. In sha Allah all of our cases will get processed soon and approved quickly. I'm dying here and we dont even have an interview date yet. I've become alot closer to Allah and i strongly believe that you will find peace if you pray, if anything you'll be gaining good deeds. I'll keep you all in my prayers and I hope you all will too. Don't get your hopes down yet, I know it's hard but think about the future. It's easier said then done but we're all going through this together so just keep your heads up and pray to god (Allah). I hope this will help some of you, it's really hard but keep believing.

hahh! you read my mind. My fiance is from Swabi so I was like :bonk:

oh dear dont stress yourself ..it's just my thinking hahahah its not true but i was just trying to see if this might be a reason ... but as i know from asking someone on VJ once they told me that before everyone's interview they have already started background checks and if it goes fast than i think no AP require since the background from that person was easy.. good luck all

The color of the sheet doesn't matter, it just matters what is written on the sheet. Unfortunately no one knows the real reason why someone is put in AP, or exactly what they are looking for. My husband was put in AP and it lasted 10 weeks. The one thing I wish some of the consulates would stop doing is giving people a time frame for AP, because when that time frame comes and goes and the visa isn't issued the agony of waiting longer is excruciating. When they told my husband and I that he was in mandatory AP, the CO did not give us a timeline. He merely said it has to run it's course and we cannot give specifics because it would merely be speculation, you just have to let it run it's course and you will be contacted when the visa is issued. And that is exactly what happened. I feel for people going through Islamabad because it just seems that AP is almost a certainty for most. Just sad. I wish you the best and I hope your fiance's AP is a speedy one. rose.gif

Yes, you are right bc now my mind is set for this time frame, and I just imagine the feeling if he is not contacted within the time frame. But I am trusting God, leaving ALL in his hands. I pray and hope that we all get through this process soon.

Blessings to all!

Don't worry you sure will gonna get out of this soon...

Terrorists are not exclusive to the North, and they are not exclusive to Pakistan. This theory just isn't true.

Well this pretty much deserves to be the popular post in my point of view..

& the final news on the mentality of CO's at ISB regarding K-1's & CR-1's

the only candidate among the 4 been interviewed on 17th & 18th on CR-1

has been approved without AP.. (K**&F**)

now guys think about it seriously.. CR-1 is giving embassy less headaches

so less AP's for that status..

NO, Part of Pakistan is not a issue. I do think they do AP for 99% for Male in Pak.

Well I say you pretty much right as there is no logical answer

anyone can ever able to give why he/she is been put in AP even

after maintaining all paperwork accordingly.

Pak in whole.. Alien Spouse Male..these two issues are

concerning enough for CO's at ISB.. but hey

you can't help it right so chill..everything has a right time to happen

and you won't make it before...
