Hey all,

Just wanted to share the good news, Lake just got a call and they offered him the job! Wow, his very first interview and he gets a job. I am jealous, I have been to hundreds and never hired when looking first time.

He starts on Thursday, its a manufacturing job, hopefully he doesnt hate it, he has always done mostly outside work up til now, and he really loves planting, gardening, landscaping, but I was just popping in apps anywhere, but NOT landscaping jobs, cuz I wanted him to go to class during the day and those all happened to be day jobs. Anyhow, we will see how it goes, pay is pretty good for someone just starting off in the States...

Tenika-my fiance was recently ill and had to go to the hospital and what he told me about that place scared me.

Our health care system isn't perfect(affordable) but I'll take it any day over any 3rd world countries health care system

Well can you believe it I had a day off yesterday, I went with friend wedding dress shopping she is not getting married till Jan. but she wanted to go to the store where I bought mine and look.....Then I got a wild hair up my butt and decided I wanted to paint my bedroom...finished painting about 10pm and today my legs are hurting sooo bad

Anyway I am working nights for the next 3 nights ...then on Friday me, mom and dad are going to look at a couple hotels where we might have the wedding , and then going to the Home Show at the convention center...should be a fun day....On sunday I am going to a bridal show, I am going to register for anything I can (maybe get some free stuff )

The funny things is he is not a drinker so he does not know what a lot of the drinks are...I told him to have the bar tender to make him small samples of the different drinks so he would know at least what they taste like ...

Oh, baby update, Leann will be at 28 weeks on Thursday. She started having contractions Monday morn, of all things in a SNOWSTORM, but they gave her sedatives and things settled down and..so far so good! Thanks for all your wishes, hopes, and prayers!

Funny thing is..I woke up yesterday morn and told mom and sis, well, we cant get out of the driveway, what do wanna bet that baby comes today or tomorrow?

Not too big maybe 50-75 people...I am limiting who I am inviting since I know Adrian will not have a lot of people that he knows that can come...so I dont think it is fair for me to have say 100 people and he only has about 10 people there.... ....So nothing too big but it will have a nice caribbean flair to it...I want a very unique wedding Pink (like a dark kinda hot pink-Fusha(sp) and Black are the colors and I want color everywhere, I dont want the standard "White Wedding" the only thing white will be my dress, the cake and of coures "me" LOL and it is a must that I have a Caribbean buffet (I am dead set on having the buffet...no plated dinner )

...Anyway guys I just got home from work so I am about to catch some ZZZZZ's...talk to ya later...have a great day all....

Good morning ladies

We got more bad news last night. Tony's uncle died on Monday evening It was his dad's brother and he was pretty close to him growing up. I feel so bad for Tony. He wants to go down to JA for the funeral and to be with his dad and his family. We really can't afford it right now. The cheapest airfare I could find is $531 which isn't that bad for last minute, but we're still broke from our last trip I can't tell him NO, because I know if the situation were reversed I would want to be there for my family. He is supposed to decide today what he's going to do. Please keep us in your thoughts.
