I find the fact they gave him a letter explaining how to appeal promising, I think the first step is finding out what the letter says. Back in 2004 there was no options.

The waiver should help, unless there is some kind of time period you must appeal in, I'd make sure he was clean before proceeding.

I did hear of a couple with Jamaican government connections getting past this last year, I don't know the details.

Of course that's another card in my deck. A good friend of mine is a longtime friend of the PM elect in JA. I'm going to try to attend the inauguration.

i think they give him time for the appeal is my understanding. would i have to file another I130 too. this is costly for all these filings. yea, its good to know people alright. I wish you well on your interview. its very hard being separated. we have already done that you know. but he would have to have it out of his system before going to deal with the doctor again. that is true. ok i will let him know what you told me. peace

1 1/2 hours to the nearest mall :o . I relocated about 1 1/2 years ago and I want to move again because it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to nearest malls/shopping areas, whereas where I lived before the mall was only about 5 minutes away; and I could hit 3 Walmart's and 2 Target's within a 10 mile radius  and they were on my way home from work to boot!! When people come to my house and if I open my closets I say: "My name is Michele, and I am a shopaholic". They get the idea.

Yeah, I couldn't deal with that either - 1 1/2 hours to the nearest mall? :o I have 2 huge malls within 15 minutes of me and also 2 Targets, 1 Walmart, 3 Meijers, etc.. within 10-15 minutes. I could never live in a rural area. I would go nuts

This is just a mini vent, but all the talk of centralizing got me thinking. why do people filing through dallas get the opportunity to adjust their status and receive a greencard within 90 days. that's lets me know that it can be done, so why not just make it that simple and quick for EVERYBODY

Some people AOS cases are transferrd to CSC then approved without an interview. Their green card just show up in the mail. They are lucky.

I really hope that happens for Squito...

good morning VJ

Anyone know what I put on part 4, section D-poverty guidelines of I-864 affidavit of support form?? Number three where it ask about the min income requirement for my household size(5). I am sure it will be based on my income, but is there a chart some where?

Also seeing as I will not most like file my 2005 taxes in time, Should I leave out my 2005 information all together, and just go with 2004,03,02?? Or send the 2005 w2's without the return.

I would send the 04', 03', and 02' tax info AND your 05' W-2. It can never hurt to have too much information. Regarding the poverty guidelines, if you do search on the web, you should find the national guidelines.

I'm still waiting too. Haven't seen them yet.....kinda wondering if they even exist....

Squitto -- Congratulations!! I hope to send mine off my Friday. We are still waiting on the Marriage Certificate :P

Joanna -- What time are you going to start calling the Embassy :lol:

Dee -- Go into the Guides here on VJ. You can "link" to the 2006 Poverty Guidelines from there. <MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE 2006 GUIDELINES!!> I agree with Rhonda for your 2005 taxes....include a copy of your W-2 -- and maybe a little note saying you haven't yet filed....the worst that could happen is you get an RFE -- and by that time your taxes will hopefully be done.
