D says that all the time :wacko: now it may get hot (100's every now and then) but the heat here compared to the heat and humidity there...I think he lost his mind.

so funny. Last night Roy said he couldn't wait for winter  And to think, I was so worried about how he would handle the cold weather. Go figure.

quote]

Has he experienced winter yet...perhaps he is just expressing his desire for cooler weather, with out realistically expecting winter. I am not sure how Rohan will deal with winter, but it will be funny to watch.

Roy got to Chicago January 13 -- yes, he has experienced winter -- he actually experienced the worst of the Chicago weather. It is usually the coldest here in February.

Hello everyone - just checking in. Going back now to catch up, although I see there are only 2 pages to read since last night :(

What ya saying, Rhonda? I chat wayyyyy too much? And Ann, posting in the middle of the night like that...sheesh!

I bet ya all miss my chatter, huh? :P

You get the award for the longest posts ever posted :P

Good morning everyone!!!

(I need about 120 more posts for my third heart :D )

Ok Elizabeth, YOU chat way too much :P How on earth do you almost have THREE (L) already?!!! You must be chatting it up in a LOT of other forums also.

We just got approved -- NO INTERVIEW!! Can you all see me dancing?!?!?!?!?!?

CONGRATS Mindy and Roy :thumbs::luv: You lucky dog - no interview or anything! :P

Glad I get the award for SOMETHING!

And congrats to Mindy, so happy for you.

And to Michelle, thanks for asking, but no, we are still struggling, we have a variety that is pesticide resistant, is what we have found out so far. DUH! I have been mixing a mix of Vicks/Tea Trea oil/Neem Oil/vinegar/borax/salt/Clove oil/Witch Hazel/Oregano Oil and Orange Oil and we all have been bathing in it, and we have been bug free for 3 days now (knock on wood), except for Moms eyes. We have an appointment with the dermatologist and eye doctor next week, just not sure what to do for her. I have called everyone, nursing homes, ER, doctor, eye doctor, dermatologist, health department, extension office. No one knows anything so far, so I have turned to the internet (as you can see).

We all smell a bit like turpentine. Its sure a lot of work, having 4 people bathing for over an hour every day and still washing all the stuff in the house. Will sure be glad when this is over and I can think of something besides battling, like actually having a LIFE. Not to mention we have spent over $1500.00 now. :crying:

I remember about 13 yrs ago, I was in court with one of my child abuse cases, and someone called and told me my cat had been killed by a car. Everybody thought I was crying about the kid on my case :no:

 you are too much! Seriously though,I hope the kid turned out ok.

One thing that was mentioned was that a lot of animals are going into heat at this time and that female coyotes use it as a bait and trap method...never knew that before
umm, I wish I'd known this a few years ago, Trevor would not have stood a chance :lol::lol:

Hi Michele,

I see you down there. I am very happy that Tristan is making what seems like a speedy recovery. I know you are probably trying to think of ways to get down there. I don't blame you. :luv:

Actually I think the next step is to get him here

Goodnight fam -_- . I have to be at work by 6:30 am at the latest

It seems like all my hard work is paying off; finally. I got a great review today and the highest % raise in the unit.

Michelle, congrats on the raise, and hope Tristan continues to get better and better.

I am still catching up guys, it occurred to me, after reading about 10 days worth, how this is like a story, I get so caught up in whats happening...like with Jamies dogs, I was on the edge of my seat, then let down, then exuberant upon their return. Isnt it funny that we are so involved with each others lives? I love it. Anyhow, Jamie, glad your dogs returned, was very happy to hear that.

Also Jax wedding preparations sound so nice, and Ms. Squitto's wedding preps just had me all stressed out FOR HER... Hope it all goes well

Hugs to all (long distance ones, so ya'll dont "catch" anythin)

Thanks for the info about shaving.....but....still neeeeeeeed more!!!! Please send more info, just trying to give him ALL kinds of ideas!!!

Jamie, I'm so happy that your babies have arrived back. There was a coyote sighting here in my area last week and it almost killed a little dog, but the owner was able to scare it off !

I always see Michael slap some alcohol on after he shaves. He doesn't have so much of a bump problem on his face on on the back of his neck - and the alcohol seems to keep those away.

JAMIE - So glad the dogs are back and will be ok. (L)

Ok .. I see, one of my issues while reading your post.. I always look for an appology if I feel he was wrong, but it is kindah also about reading them, Men can be complicated..

Yeah if we don't learn to read our men's actions then we are in trouble....unless we are married to Roy.

I also always look for "thanks" and "what would I do without you" "you are so the best thing that has ever happened to me.":P I sometimes do extraoridnary things and he does not bat an eye. He told me last night (an many other times) that I love "praise tuh much!" He said if I do something, he should give thanks to God and not necessarily me. But I am just a little human being and like to hear well done. (I need to point out that the Lord himself set aside those words (well done) for when he sees the faithful face to face; so if the Lord knows we need to hear it, what's Henry's problem? )

And it's not just us. There is thread on this (the man's no thanks no compliment way of being) in the Asia forum.

For Rhonda if she's bored tonight!!

Hmmm, Elizaeth, would that happen to be MY post! I actually told him a couple of weeks ago I was feeling a bit insecure. After we had a talk and he figured out what insecure actually meant... we laugh and get it out in the open. Now tho, its hilarious, he turns it around on me, the other nite, he told me he was feeling a bit insecure...And I just died laughing.

Also,, thats Lake as well, very NON chatty. He told me he has a brother thats even quieter than he is, even if you ask him a question, all the guy does is say "um" or "hmm-uh' and thats bout all you get out of him. He says still when he goes home to visit, the family that LIVES there doesnt know he is there sometimes for several days til he speaks up. He is very unobtrusive, for sure.

This game will make you crazy!! It took me 4 minutes and then I could not remember HOW I did it.

9 more!!
