Well it has been determined that our dogs were stolen.

Jamie I am so sorry to hear about your dogs. I would recommend posting flyers not just in your town, but some in the surrounding towns. Put on the flyers also anything unusual about them characteristics, marks etc. I really hope you find them.

Michelle, I hope Tristan is feeling better day by day.

Morning everyone

Congrats Mindy on approval :dance::dance:

Jamie, I pray the dogs are returned home soon

SJB, take me with you :crying: have a great time in JA!

Well, after months of procrastination I finally did it. Yesterday, I went to SS and changed my last name...

It was so weird to see that official printed document with my married last name (and the officer telling me to destroy all old SS cards). Hubby says he feels closer to me now  but I know what he means. Almost 5 months of marriage and still using my maiden name. Also added him to bank account. Waiting on EAD so he can finally get state ID.

Yeah, now I don't have to keep "quizing" him about what color my toothbrush is and what kind of tampons I prefer to use [/color]

Well our dogs have returned :luv:

I don't know what happened to them or where they were but they showed up in the middle of the night on the porch...made so much noise to be let in. They have never done that before. They normally don't make any noise. We don't know if they went off somewhere or if someone took them or what. They are both really skiddish and were a complete mess- missing some hair and making all sorts of weird noises. Nemo looks like he has some pretty bad injuries to his back legs. He can barely walk :crying: Whatever happened to them it wasn't nice. Since we live in the country I am wondering if they got in with some coyotes or something. Anyways we are off to the vets to make sure they are ok. Milo seems alright except he is really skiddish and was laying in our laps and wouldn't stop whimpering...something he never really does. Nemo was really happy to see us but he was dragging his backside and wouldn't let us touch him for a while. Anyways I will keep you all updated.

Thanks for all the well wishes. My last post was a little emotional and logically we didn't know what to think. We had searched for 4 hours and really there seemed to be no hope. They are like our kids. I know some of you know what I mean. I never thought I would be so emotionally attached to dogs...but I am  Anyways I will keep you updated.

I'm having more of a problem with my new signature.....

I love mine. I worked on it for a while then "it" came to me and once I saw it, I was like yeah, its a keeper. I force my co-workers to look at it an ooh and ah. My former assistant asked me to sign something the other day, then he brought it back, threw it on my desk and said "this isn't you!" LOL

Shoot, I think I posted this in the wrong place....oh well, but I NEED some advice......

Just curious.............how do your men shave their faces? With a shaver? clipper? or razor ? Do they do anything *special* to not have and/or get bumps?

Craig is driving me absolutely NUTS about shaving....cause he can't go to the "barber" to get a flippin shave (like he did in Jamaica)....and when he used my clipper set (don't know if he used the right settings), he got bumps.

ANY and ALL help with giving him some advice would be GREATLY appreciated ASAP !!!!

Kelly

Tony had the same "issues" when he first got here. He uses a straight razor to shave - not a normal razor with a handle on it like we would use here. So I bought him a Gillette Sensor Excel with 3 blades and also some good aftershave. I convinced him to try it and now he likes it. It just took a bit of convincing. Also, last time we went to JA, he brought back a whole bunch of his precious straight razors cause he can't find them anywhere around here. Good luck

Exactly! Keep me at the bottom of the baby list

They are fine...banged and bruised and traumatized but fine health wise. Nemo got the worst of whatever it was most likely because he is smaller and the runt (plus he is a lover not a fighter :P ) One thing that was mentioned was that a lot of animals are going into heat at this time and that female coyotes use it as a bait and trap method...never knew that before. Once a male dog has that in his head he ain't coming back for anything  So they are getting fixed on Friday ;)

As much as we hated all that happened it really has shown me just how attached Andre is to those dogs...no matter what he tries to tell me :lol:
