I want to thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers. Tristan was shot 3 times but no vital organs were hit; thank God. I was able to speak to him briefly and he seems to be doing alright considering.

Kim, he's in Cornwall Regional Hospital in MoBay; I hope the care they have there is good.

I found out this was a case of mistaken identity and frankly I'm afraid for him to go home again. I wish he was here with me now.

Michele, I am so sorry to hear of Tistan's injury. Thank God he will be o.k.

On another note, I think my post went to you mistakenly. VJ doesn't always cooperate when I'm trying to post.

We received our interview date via postal mail

Tuesday, August 9th @ 8:30am

There have been no online updates or touches on our file

Great news. Have you started collecting items for the interview. Hopefully, this will be it for awhile for you guys :dance:

March 7, 2005 - Received EAD in the mail

April 4, 2005 - Received notice of interview date for AOS

July 26, 2005 - Interview date for AOS!!!

August 12, 2005 - Received NOA for Permanent Residency

August 15, 2005 - Received Green Card in mail!!

June 4, 2007 - Mailed I-751 form to lift "conditions" - it arrived at NSC on June 6

June 11, 2007 - Check cashed

June 21, 2007 - Received NOA1 and Biometrics appt. letter

July 14, 2007 - Biometrics appt. (after re-scheduling)

April 2, 2008 - got an e-mail that our case was transferred to California!

May 12, 2008 - got an e-mail that our case is APPROVED!!

May 17, 2008 - Received Green Card in the mail! No more Immigration for TEN YEARS!!

December 6, 2007 - Monique Savannah is born!! 6 lbs. 13 oz.

Although sex is important in marriage, I didnt think that was so important in deciding who I should marry, long as he has his organ in the proper place, and I know I was in order, nothing else really matter.

Girl, there is so much more to it than that!! :lol: Just having the "organ" in the proper place is just the tip of the iceberg ;):yes::P Sex is one of the most important things in a happy, long-lasting marriage. I have to make sure we're compatible in that area.

It didnt stop him from putting the argument to me a couple time when tempationw as at its highest, or him from giving me stories about people who waited until their wedding day and found out their partner has "no where to recieve him: :o:P

What is the best method of payment when I send in my packet? Personal check, money order???

Hi Darlene-

I did a cashier's check.......everything went really smooth with no "check" problems. Did you get the new form I-129F? I think I read somewhere that they recently published the new form. It will help your case go a lot faster if you submit on the new form so that you do not need to wait for an RFE afterwards.......It looks like EVERYONE who filed for K1 after March 6 with the old form is now receiving an RFE with those new IMBRA questions...... :(
