I'm confused, so will he have 2 envelopes ?? I'll have to ask him if he was given 2. They asked you for *more* passport pictures?? Why would they do that? Didn't they already have everything in the packet from the interview ?

So when he gets to immigration ....they ask him for his "big brown envelope"? They'll pull what they need out of it ? and hand him back his x-ray(s)?

Are there any weird questions that he'll be asked..............do you remember if your guys were asked any bizarre questions? Like, why are you here? How long are you staying ? That kind of stuff...

Not worried about any rum....I don't drink it and he's not much of a rum drinker either. In the 26x I've been to Jamaica, I've never carried any liquor back for myself. Oh wait, I did bring back banana rum cream....when I got home I was putting it on top of the frig.....it lost it's balance......and toppled off and broke eeeeeverywhere!!!

Mindy is right. The big envelope with the X-ray in it was given to us at the Visa interview. Did he get it when he went back to the Embassy? No one ever looked at Tony's either so I don't think it's a big deal.

As for the pictures - we had the wrong ones in our brown envelope. They were 3/4 view instead of full frontal face view or vice versa - I forget which ones are the "right" ones! I had the correct ones with me so we just handed them over. I tried to give the "right" ones to the girl at the Embassy but she insisted on the other ones  Obviously she was wrong!

I don't recall any weird questions. Just the finger print thingy and some basic questions. I was so nervous at the POE but Tony was completely calm  However he was a nervous wreck at the actual interview, while I was the calm one!

That sucks about your banana rum cream :o I LOVE rum so I used to bring back 3 bottles of Wray & Nephew every time I went  Now I love Appleton too, so last time Tony brought 3 Wray & Nephew and I brought 3 Appleton :o:D

Yeah this wedding is outta control. We've now exceeded 200  wish me luck!!!

Luck? You're really going to need the honeymoon to recover!!

*****************************************************

Roy went to a Cubs game last night -- he didn't like it at all. He thought he was going to a "football" game. Dah, I told him a million times -- never realized that he didn't know what I was talking about. He was so amazed by the amount of people that were there......

Just one more experience to cross off the list. We are probably going to Disneyland next week -- how do you think he's gonna handle that?:blink:

Good morning.

Have fun at Disneyland. We went Hershey Park last summer and Damien got on the biggest roller coaster first. We had so much fun until he got sick. Poor baby tummy was hurting. So we ended up on all the slow rides for the rest of the day - like the train, chocolate tour, petting zoo  This year we're going to start off on the kiddies rides and work ourselves up

I always try make like I'm not scarrred with Rides and roller coaster  Once I get on I'm scarrred as hell.

What's everyone doing this weekend? I have to work Saturday :crying: And just my luck, the weather is going to be beautiful on Sat. and then thunder-storms on Sunday - my only day off :ranting: Oh well, gotta start saving for our next trip to Jamaica :D We probably won't be going until January though - when I get more vacation days!

I'll be glad when we can go back. I think D will go back as soon as he gets his green card. We are planing to be there for Christmas and newyears as well.

Tonight we're either going to the movies and out to dinner or go home to watch movies and order Chinese food. I'll rather to go home because I need some -_- I'm going to two birthday parties tomorrow...one is turning 5 and the other is turning 35. My family is having a cookout for the fathers and men in our family on Sunday.

Rhonda - I was just looking at January rates for our anniversary. I am looking at other places as well but JA is the most affordable for now.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
