this big wedding planning is driving met NUTS !!! I cannot understand for the life of why people do not understand the RSVP concept. I've already self-addressed AND stamped the bloody envelopes

i just spoke with one of my moms cousins and i asked if he and his wife plan to attend, he's like, c'mon, you know we're going to be there...i'm like i don't know sh!t cause you didn't send the flippin' card back...

invites went out the first week of may, with an rsvp deadline for this saturday, the 17th...that's 6 weeks that i gave people to respond...and here I am, 4 weeks before the wedding and I have to be tracking people down

i swear, if people show up unannouced, there will be no place for them to sit and no food for them to eat. when i give my final count to the caterer they are going to be assed out...

Regarding the brown envelope -- he will give that to the Immigration officer at the airport. Tell him NOT TO OPEN IT. He will keep the envelope with his chest x-ray as a souvenir.

Congratulations on the approval. I am sooo happy for you both! The brown envelope he must not open it. Arrival for Rohan about 1 1/2 months ago in JFK was reall simple. I feel you on the small wedding thing, mine is going to be around 100 people and it is soo stressful. Cant wait to get it over with and escape.

I have two questions:

1. can one get expedited processing due to extreme illness?

2. {this might be stupid but I have been having the weirdest thoughts lately ...............} Is it possible for someone to be denied by the NVC? I was on the train trying not to think about the constant neausea I have been having and it just popped in my head to ask. Going crazy I guess..

I know it has been a while, but no computer at home anymore, so I can only catch up at work. With my new position, I have absolutely no time to get on the site. So here I am!! We just went for biometrics today, so hoping not too much longer til we get our interview date!!! Is that how it works, does anyone know?

Squitto---- i feel your pain, i was calling people 2 days before, don't they know the value of a stamp, we provided, use it!!!

Everything is going alright between me an the hubby, but there are hatters out there trying to fill my head with bull****!!!

Is anyone else have this problem?? How are you handling it?

For those of you who have IDT calling card... can you call the 800# and see if it tells you your balance even though you didnt put in your acct number?

I don't think so.....I think you have to put in your account number otherwise they wouldn't know it was you calling......unless you got a "human" to talk to.

Not that I know of. We have on people on this and other boards with impending pregnancies and cancer and what not....to no avail. I do remember one guy last year whose wife was going to have a preemie and the us embassy in London upped his interview date and he arrived in the US just in time for the baby's birth.

I had IDT program my pin into my home, cell and office phone, so I just dial 800# and it tells me my balance right away. Don't know if that helps.
