Marsha- You should be getting your approval any day now!!! I predict an appointment in Kingston in August.....Since you are filing a I-130 with I-129F, you should not be affected by IMBRA. Currently, the IMBRA law is only affecting Fiancee Visa's filed after March 6th. Speaking of that....how ya doing Miss Shauna???? At least you will be in Jamaica soooooonn....

Speaking of that...I leave tomorrow......YEAH!!!!!! Can not wait another minute.....the folks at work are getting on my last nerve.....why do sooo many people have funky breath and try to be all in my face....this one guy at work smells like he sucks on a poop-popsicle for breakfast every morning and has nerve to get all in my face today......I had to stop and say a prayer.......the Lord knows I need a vacation!!!!

ok, I am officially frustrated. Today must be a "day of calling and not getting anything accomplished" kinda days!

I have made about 15 phone calls, and all I ever get is a machine, or someone is out til Wednesday kind of thing.

THE WORST was I AGAIN tried to call AOL to cancel a 6 month free subscription, and after being patient cuz I actually had TIME to fart around and wait today...after 45 minutes of being on hold, I tell the cancellation department I want to cancel and he tells me they are upgrading their system and so they cant do it today and so I need to call back in two days! I really think they give you such a runaround so you will end up just paying for it out of frustration! The first time they told me I had to have my hubby avail since I signed up in HIS name, and he was in class that day, so I couldnt, the other two times I didnt have the patience to wait the 45 minute hold time. ARGGGGH!

GIRRRRL you and me both!!!! I went smooth off Friday. after being on hold for 20 min's with them trying to cancel a free three month trial period, that they claimed I would not be charged for. They had the nerve to offer me a another three months for free I was like he.. no! Just cancel it and give me a conformation number They had the nerve to disconnect me, So when I called back I pushed all the buttons as though I wanted to sign up for a subscription, Gob darn it!! they came on the line right away.....And boy did I let that poor guy have it Then he to had the nerve to offer more services to me

Well....it actually took 32 minutes but I finally got through to the lovely and talented Brandon. He said we have to completely refile the application -- $180.00 and all.....and possibly another Biometrics fee too!! Then, we go to the back of the line......

I am going to keep the InfoPass appointment for tomorrow morning. I don't mind refiling -- if that's what I have to do -- BUT -- I can't imagine that we are going to have to wait another 80-something days to get the corrected EAD. Roy is just going to kill me. Right now, he's not mad at all -- even though it was me who made the mistake.

Ok, that completely sucks I would be so ticked off to have to pay that kind of money again - even if it was my fault. You're human - everyone makes mistakes. There should be some easier way to fix it.

...I think I would try to go ahead and use it and if a potential employer noticed it, then I would explain laughingly about it.

Good point I wouldn't even bother to re-file for it. Just explain to the employer that they made a mistake. IF they even notice. Plus, like Jill said, once he gets the GC he won't need it anyways.

Rhonda, carpenter ants are bad, bad. You need to go around the house and make sure there is not a tree they are infesting, that rubs against the house, the gutter, or one of the electric or phone lines. We had them in our house two years ago, and it turns out they were coming in from a tree in our back yard, that rubbed against our telephone and electric lines. We ended up having to take the tree completely out, (it was rotted anyway) but they WILL eventually infest the house as well, from what I have read, almost like termites. We didnt realize it, but the tree was totally infested, and we tried everything before we paid to have the tree removed. They really freaked me out as well, cuz the suckers are HUGE and scary looking on top of the other bad stuff. We didnt even have a wood house, but I got scared when I started reading about them, cuz they dont care, they will even get into the eaves, or windows, where ANY wood is. I had read that you can hear them rustling at night if you have them, and I swear I heard rustling all that summer, but I was probably imagining it cuz just thinkin bout it gives me the heebie jeebies.
