Tenika, could you grow out relaxer and get a flat-iron or press? Not saying you should change, but if your hair becomes a big issue between you two and you need an alternative, those may work. I stopped relaxing in 1999 and started cutting out relaxer in 2000. My hair is now completely relaxer free and has grown to mid-back (past my bra strap) since I got rid of the creme. I get a hard flat iron (I like my hair bone straight) every two weeks or so. The only disadvantage is that my hair does curl up quick (especially when in JA and it's humid) but I like the option to wear my hair natural and curly or straight.

And I agree w/ Dee- the Lord does not discriminate on hair processes

I just found out today that we got scheduled for a July 10 interview...WHOAHHH BABY!!!

I can't wait to be able to share husband stories soon!!!!!

So.....I have a question for you ladies.....

Dee just mentioned that women hit on Dave today......do you guys have problems with American women hitting on your Jamaican husband???? I just want to be prepared in case I have to kick some American ASSSSSSSSS!! ....... J/K

.....That is sooo funny...Duane says the same thing about American women.....very loose.... (except for me and all of us yardie gals!!! )

D thought the same and of course....He bases everything on American women who go to JA to party and get laid.....I don't think that that's the majority at all tho.

It is his own personal beleif, I have heard some preachers in Jamaica down Christians who perm there hair, but I think they base that on their own conviction or old time tradition. I told him to show me that in the bible. he started uh..uh..uh. I was like I am waiting show me... he was like uh..uh.. why you gotta ask me to quote scripture , I reminded him that I am an evangelist and have been traveling around the world with God using me for years, I aint notice where my hair has been an hinderance. i was like boo, i love you and all. but that is something you need to let God judge not you.. he pouted and was like fine..i love you more than your hair, so I just gotta cope with it

I was lke you must be out YO MIND , I was like maybe by the time I get 95 , if Jesus dont come by then, Ill go NATURAL . He's like since I been in Jamaica, I been preaching about ministers wife who creame (perm) there hair, now it is unfortunate God has to pick a wife for me who creme her hair. To make a loooong story short, I said honey u should ah told me that from before or you should have neva approached me with my permed here. He said he will just have to cope with it, but he still praying that I will change.. he gonna be prayin for a looonng time

Squito supports the decision as he wants to locs up. I know it will be a difficult transition for me as I've been creamin' since I was 10. Maybe you can use the hot comb

POPULAR DEEJAY RODNEY 'Bounty Killer' Pryce was arrested by police on Saturday and charged with assaulting the mother of his child.

The 'Warlord', as Pryce is also known, was arrested at the Quad Nightclub on a warrant and subsequently charged with assault and occasioning grievous bodily harm, stemming from an incident on Constant Spring Road, St. Andrew, more than a week ago.

Allegations are about 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, Pryce, 34, was passing by when he saw the mother of his child, 33-year- old Julie Rambally, on her way with friends to a popular Monday night session along Constant Spring Road.

Pryce allegedly accosted Rambally and an argument began. It was reported that the altercation became physical and she was punched in the face several times. She was dragged some distance away (near South Avenue), and her head slammed into a wall, and she was kicked to the ground.

Rambally was assisted to the Kingston Public Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries, including severe swelling to the face. A report was subsequently made, and a warrant was prepared for Pryce's arrest.

Pryce was picked up about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, at the club in New Kingston, wherein the warrant was served, and he was arrested. He did not spend any time in jail however, as Pryce was given station bail to the sum of $20,000.

The matter has been set for court on Tuesday, where the Warlord's fate will be decided.
