Hey Everyone!!

I just found out today that we got scheduled for a July 10 interview...WHOAHHH BABY!!!

I can't wait to be able to share husband stories soon!!!!!

So.....I have a question for you ladies.....

Dee just mentioned that women hit on Dave today......do you guys have problems with American women hitting on your Jamaican husband???? I just want to be prepared in case I have to kick some American ASSSSSSSSS!! ....... J/K :huh::unsure::unsure:;)

Good morning.

Congrats on your interview date. Are you going to the interview?

Some American women love Jamaican accents so Damien have been fighting off women since he's been here. He says American women are loose  I believe women try to flirt with Damien beacause he is so mean looking - a turn on, I guess. He has that Jamaican mean rude boy look. It doesn't bother me because he knows how to handle himself.

I hope everyone enjoy the weekend. Sizzla is performing here tonight. Damien haven't decided if he wants to go yet  .

Hey everyone,

Just checkin in. I hope you're all doing well.

My husband's father died :( last night in JA. So it's a stressful time right now. I hope that he'll be able to go home however our AP hasn't been approved yet. I know that the K3 is supposedly supposed to allow you to travel back and forth if you have applied for AOS. However, we applied for the AP just for extra protection. We've heard so many different stories so we want to be on the safe side. Today I noticed that his EAD has been approved so we're waiting on the card and his AP was touched finally. So I really hope that it will be approved ASAP. Then his AOS interview is a little over 2 weeks away. It seems like the funeral may be at least 2-3 weeks from now so I'm hoping that at least he'll be able to go home. We already planned to go in July so if everything works out we may be able to change his ticket so that he can go for a longer period and I will go at the orginally scheduled time.

I'll keep you all posted.

Take care

My condolences to your husband and his family. (F)

I've read that sometimes USCIS will grant APs on an emergency basis. Maybe you could schedule an infopass appointment to see if they'd give it to him.

Sizzla is performing here tonight. Damien haven't decided if he wants to go yet  .

What did you decide?

Yes, it has been very quite in here this week. I hope everyone's ok.

Once again, my weekly regrets to Rhonda for having to work yet another full day on Saturday :(

Well I'm finally getting things packed up and have contracted a mover. I'm really getting excited about the move.

Saundra,

My condolensces to you, your husband and his family. Just so you know your options - your husband CAN travel on the K3 right now. That is the advantage of going the K3 route - Henry and I have not yet applied for AOS and Henry has traveled twice on his K3 with ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM. He has been to JA for almost two weeks and Canada for a weekend. JFK was his POE. I was not with him on either trip. He said immigration and customs was a breeze on both trips....Although I was waiting outside JFK with every scrap of paper proving who we are and his status in this country.:huh::blink:

So you dont need AP and you need not have applied for AOS.

Welcome mominlaw2b!!! :)
