Kim what name are you going to give your new fish? Have you gals ever discussed why they have such werid nicknames for people in JA? I think some off them are so silly. I go for Ray Rey for the name :P

That's a good topic - what are your man's nicknames in Jamaica?? :P Tony (aka: Anthony) has at least 3 that I can think of: Dread, Matterhorn, and Franklin  Don't ask me how they came up with them. The only one I understand is Dread because he was very bad when he was a kid and always getting in trouble. I guess it's short for dreadful? His parents and certain family members call him Franklin. How the heck did they get that out of the name Anthony? :o

I think we did this question last year sometime in the old thread...who's man's name was "#######"??:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I know I am really late responding but yes it was my dear sweet Ricardo who has the nickname #######! After all these years it's still funny when people call him that....when we were in Ja and ladies would call him ####### I really wasn't feeling it. I know it has to do with a chicken but my mind goes to one thing when you say that word :lol::lol:

For those with family in CT- We just experienced severe thunderstorms with heavy rain, flooding, debris all over the roads, downed power lines(which I got caught in); power outages, etc. So if you can't get in touch with them this is probably the reason why. More storms are on the way later tonight.

**************************************************

Kelly and Craig- best wishes tomorrow!!

He really wants something to do with security or working at a hotel. At this point, whatever he gets he will take!!
Great! I know you are proud of him? Did he pass the final, or is that today? I believe he will do well, maybe they will give him a little extra time if he need it
Yeah, I am very proud of him. He won't have any tests this time around....he came into the semester half way so he was just "auditing" these classes. You would never know that though -- they took him right in like he was there from the beginning. Summer school starts next week....
Mindy how you get touched again? I want my cases touched :crying:
Well, for the EAD -- I have no idea. Hopefully they are sending it out. BUT, we did not get an e:mail from them telling us it was approved -- and the only thing that changed on the website was the date. For the AOS -- we did have the Biometrics yesterday.....I just keep telling myself that they are sending us to California -- that's why..... ;)
