OMG, I am really going ot have to go without a husband.

That hard headed red skin s*&* head just screwed us over. I can't believe this. I just wish I could back to last week and change certain things. He is so immatureand stupid. How you gonna see sucha bright futre and mess things up because another person offended you, walk away, there is nothing to that. srry just venting........

I can only ge tto his mom and sister, they were hiding it from me but I begged the sister and she told me what went down. Paul just got in somse stuff and now things aren't looking so good. Just last week I was worried about him not getting the visa in time b/c of IMBRA. Now things are worst dang-diggity-dang.

On the days when I get all stressed over this whole baby thing, I realize that I really, really want to be a mom. Before I was just afraid, but now I know for sure that I want to have a little girl.

Hang in there- it will happen when it's time. A friend of mine just found out she's pregnant after trying for 1.5 years! No drugs, no doctors, it just wasn't their time before. Yours will come soon

In July of 1999 I met the love of my life one night in Albertown Trelawny . We were at a street dance, our eyes met and from there it was a wrap!! Tell us a little about you: We had a small civil ceremony on February 14, 2006 We have a big wedding planned for July 15, 2006. I can't wait to walk down the aisle and meet him at the altar. It's the day we've dreamed about for a long time. Our relationship has been everything but easy, but the Lord has been right by our side every step of the way. I am a firm believer in that good things come to those who wait. The Lord uses delays to strengthen our faith. Sure I could've found a man right here in NYC. But I couldn't find one who makes me feel the way Squito does. I know I have to be patient and wait for all of the wonderful things that the Lord has in store for us.

What's your favorite things about the Yardie thread? I love the camaraderie here. Many of us have never met each other yet we have a strong support system. This is a place where I know I can speak my mind freely and find people that genuinely understand my present situation. I often come to VJ to be reminded that I'm not crazy. It's nice to know other people are experiencing the same thoughts and feelings as me. I love that here, I see both the good and bad of what can happen in relationships similar to mine. As I said earlier, Ricardo and Myisha are such an inspiration to me. I am grateful for having come into contact with each and every one of you. I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful group of people

What's your Connection to JA - How/Where/When did you meet? I went to JA as a missionary and made friends with people from his church down there. On my 3rd trip we connected through church and mutual friends. We started dating on December 27, 2001. I went back to visit 5 different times. I stayed for 5 months in the spring of 2004 and we were engaged in May 2004.

I am a post and heart ho Well I work in the food industry in the quality assurance department so I am the person everyone loves to hate. Andre is working at door company and he seems pretty happy working there. We hope to relocate in the next few years to somewhere a little cheaper and a little more diverse...not sure where though. No babies in our near future...give us about 5-10 :lol

What's your favorite things about the Yardie thread? I love the love. The vibes are great and I love the connection to JA. I love getting to hear about everyones individual experiences and gaining knowledge from those around me. I am very grateful for the Yardie prayer chain and the mighty prayer warriors we have here. I am glad that I have someone to talk with through this crazy immigration stuff and cry on their shoulders. I am also glad that I can help so many people out and guide others through the process

What's your Connection to JA - How/Where/When did you meet? A freind and I were able to spend a few months on the beach in Negril. Michael was working at the place we stayed at. He worked 3rd shift at the bar so we used to stay up all night to watch the sunrise on the beach It was beautiful.

I have distant family there...but that has nothing to do with how we met. At my old job I had a ton of vacation days so I'd go to JA every three months (to party - I loved the dancehall then). On my 3rd or 4th trip (can't remember which) I went to St. Ann and we met...the rest is history.

Whoa Whoa Whoa! You all are reading my mind! Just last night I was thinking about how when I was here alone I was the tv dinner queen...Lean cuisines all the way! Now we have to have "cook food"...which I attribute to my recent weight gain. Also I always ate out for lunch or never ate and now I have to be making him a lunch for work...and sandwiches are snacks...not "real" food...What?!?! I swear our food bill has quadrupled since he got here
