I have a quick question....have you noticed a few new folks that show up on the bottom...they poke around but never post anything? I've notice a few new people but never say nothing. I wonder who they are? And what's their deal? I know this is an open forum, but curious as to how they found us, why they don't post anything, and what are they reading???

Things that make you go hmmmmmm???

Yep I have wondered the same thing...just a nice introduction would be nice...they don't have to be post whores like some of us :whistle: but it would be nice to know a little more than a screen name.

:lol: I am post hoe fa tru :lol:

(F) B) Hi, I 'm one of the lukers. I absorb all the great information for my K-3 process. Enjoy all the comic relief (especially ray, ray ray). Commiserate with all the frustrations, angst and other problems. I am quite a bit older than most of you. Way past baby making age. Wish you all happiness and generally just try to endure this journey. (L)

Welcome to the thread :) Feel free to comment on anything and everything. There's not much we don't talk about on here

Hey ladies...just checking in...didn't get on today

Just want to add my 2 cents in on a few topics:

Housing prices- this is especially for Dee( as I belive you mentioned wanting to move to southern california) well we live in southern california and the housing market is beyond outrageous! You can't even get a 2 bedroom condo for under $260,000...houses are even worse. Some 2 bedroom 700sq ft( yes I said 700) homes are going for $250,000! For a nice "starter home" which I consider a 3 bedroom 1 1/2- 2 bath house you are going to pay atleast $275,000! It's really crazy but the way we figure it, if this is were God wants us than He will provide the funds for us to get the home we need no matter the cost!

Moving to Ja- honestly ladies, we use to talk about it a lot but right now we are really driven with just getting everything straight here first. I think we still want to own some rental property but as far as moving there permantly..don't think that is in the cards...at least not until the kids are out of school( and that is ATLEST 18 YEARS AWAY) Our goals are to be finacially independent and have financial flexibilty so that we can come and go back and forth.

Paying bills- well as some of you know i am a SAHM ( stay at home mom) so Ricardo techinically pays all the bills..crazy to think about that....HE is the immigrant and ends up being the sole financial provider...only been in the US a few years...just shows that it is possible and how good God is.

Thats great. God knows I've put my years in, all I want is six months, of being home with my children, esp if I were ever to have another baby. My day soon come :thumbs:

sbys- you are due almost exactly a month before me! You are due August 7th and I am due september 5th..I'm having another scheduled c-section so I will probably have her the last week in august.....oh did i mention our wedding anniversary is the 28th of august? I know this sounds bad but I will not be scheduling the surgery on my anniversary( don't want to share). My mom had my youngest brother the day before her anniversary and she said she prayed that he wouldn't come on the same day

Jamie a few days ago you asked a question about verses and what were our favorites, well I've been thinking about it. Way before my VJ days, way before David. Back in my unhappy marriage days, before I got out of bed I would say "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want" Till this say I still say it. I am not a heavy church goer now, For a long time I thought that that was a prayer not part of a verse. I know that God doesn't want us to want for anything. Something that I struggle with on a daily. To want for nothing. To want for nothing is my purpose in life. Shame to say  as you know it is Psalm 23;1-4 I guess I would say it is my favorite. I have also grown on Psalm 18; 1&2, 16;1.

Nor do I think that it is coincidental that it the day before I left JA crying cause My Embassy experience was not a good one. I was very up set. My husband to be sang this very verse in a song while waiting for time for me to get on my plane. He calmed my soul. Coincidence...I think not.....A Psalm of DAVID Coincidence I think not .........An act of GOD I KNOW SO !!!:

Not meaning to offend any nonbelivers out there.

I have been summoned.....Goodnite. (F)

We also had a full patio with a table /chairs for eating outside and a hammack. There was 2 full bathrooms with a huge living room... 2 leather couches.....2 televisions......... It was right on 7 mile beach and we snorkled...ate great food...."played" and fell more in love..........OOOPPPs.......I am day-dreaming ...sorry......It was Duane and my first time in Negril. It was like the best honeymoon ever but we were not on a honeymoon!!!
