Hey everyone

Jamie - congrats w/ appointment (finally)!

Hey Papcawn ;)

Our wedding date has been pushed back to June 3rd...but I'm looking into doing a JP ceremony (for immigration purposes) next Friday (L)

Question: what is the cost to file AOS? I went to the AOS thread and saw that forms I-485, I-765 and I-131 need to be filed (well 131 is optional), but I thought that when you file AOS, the fee for work authorization was included

someone please help!

Hi Jonesie~ I-485 is $325 + $70 biometrics = $395 Total

I-765 is $180

I-131 is $170

Let us know if you are getting married next Friday (L)

Plus then you have cost of getting copies, vaccination supplements, passport pics etc. It gets pretty expensive. Honestly thats one of the reasons it took us a while to file

Here you go :star:

Dr. Kevin O'Keeffe, OCCUHEALTH

726 Broadway, Suite 201

Seattle, WA 98122

Tel: (206)682-2234

I spoke entirely with one of the office assistants named Denise- ask for her. They only charge $35 but the even better part was that I told her that I would be traveling from a far distance and that I was having trouble with the CS in our area. She thought it was total BS that I have to travel and take time off work. She agreed to do it all via fax. I mailed the money order and faxed the vaccination records. She is going to send the results in the mail. I will let you know when I recieve them. She told me that I could refer anyone to them and they will be happy to assist. She just ask that I tell you all to double check that your fiance/spouse have updated Tetnus and MMR as those are the vaccines that are most often missed. They were awesome to deal with and I haven't found anything better out there.

Congrats Jamie on the biometrics appt!!

The cable and DSL will be on 2/16/06 (the bill will be in both our names in the sake of AOS) so I will be back online on a more regular basis. I am gonna call tomorrow to see about getting the home phone back on. I thought I could survive with just my cell but that is definately not working.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. I am still trying to line up a church and officiant for the wedding on the 25th. My taxes will be signed later today and sent in so I will have that money to fall back on soon enough. That is also what we will be using to fund the AOS process.

Tashi is doing well. He did have a homesick breakdown a few days ago he shed a few tears and then got back to normal. I dont ever want him to feel like he made a mistake coming here and I told him if he ever started feeling that way to let me know and I will send him home.

Blessings,

Rita

I really need to update our picture....I look so much thinner now...infact Tashi called me a "crackhead" because he says my face is "straight" now with no fat padding LOL

Congratulations on the weight loss Rita. I'm having a hard time losing. I'm doing AOS and EAD papers. Did anyone have a former spouse. I'm confused about answering some of the questions on the G-325A now that we are married. I was divorced before marrying Anthony. Help anyone!

We're getting married on Tuesday, February 14th. We've already booked our ceremony for 7.30pm. We only get 15 minutes in the chapel  an no, elvis will not be our officiant!!

The planning for a big wedding this summer is in full swing now  , bridesmaids and groomsmen have been selected, i got my dress, save the date annoucements went out last week, the hall has been booked, the photograher and videographer have been reserved...yet there's still so much to do. We've been collecting our supporting docs for AOS and hope to express mail it by the end of February.
