Wow!!! Congrats Jamie!!

-I've been watching you ;) Hoping ours is not far behind.

I couldn't believe it when I saw it in the mail this evening. We didn't get any update on the website or any email. I am so glad to have reached another step! And to think I was just complaining about it this afternoon  The best part is it is biometrics for both AOS and EAD...it says it right on the NOA. Hopefully Andre will get his EAD only a few weeks after :yes:

Thanks for all the love and support  Y'all are the best (F)

Congrats Jamie on the biometrics appt!!

The cable and DSL will be on 2/16/06 (the bill will be in both our names in the sake of AOS) so I will be back online on a more regular basis. I am gonna call tomorrow to see about getting the home phone back on. I thought I could survive with just my cell but that is definately not working.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. I am still trying to line up a church and officiant for the wedding on the 25th. My taxes will be signed later today and sent in so I will have that money to fall back on soon enough. That is also what we will be using to fund the AOS process.

Tashi is doing well. He did have a homesick breakdown a few days ago he shed a few tears and then got back to normal. I dont ever want him to feel like he made a mistake coming here and I told him if he ever started feeling that way to let me know and I will send him home.

Blessings,

Rita

I really need to update our picture....I look so much thinner now...infact Tashi called me a "crackhead" because he says my face is "straight" now with no fat padding LOL

Hey Rita -- Glad to see things are beginning to get back on track. I don't think I could ever live without my house phone. Cell phones are great, but..... There is nothing like having a "land line."

Have you and Tashi decided what you are all putting in both your names?

I actually went without a house phone for over a year and just used my cell. But, then we had the huge Black-out in August of '03 (I think) and no one's cell phone worked, we had no power so couldn't charge cell phones even when they did start working, etc. It freaked me out and that's when I got a house phone! I don't use my house phone much but it comes in handy when I get too high on my minutes on my cell

Hey Guys, how is everyone?

Well I am working nights most of this week...actually I am working 73hours this week....so 33 overtime hours will really help with your savings. Adrian might be getting a promotion on the ship so that will help for the next couple of months till his interview. I really hope we get an interview in April, but I have a feeling it wll be in May, Oh well when ever we are just working as hard as we can to save money for my trip down there for the interview and his flight back...and then having enough money while he is not working when he gets here.

Well my parents are giving us around $8,000 for the wedding and then $2,000 as a wedding gift...so I hoping we can find a nice place to have the ceremony and wedding at a reasonable price.

Talk you later, Joanna

Good afternoon ladies,

I have both a cell and land line and to me the land line is a waste. I only use mine for long distance calls and for my DSL. I tried to live w/o my home phone but I'm an internet junkie so that didn't last long. I swear every month I get a high bill and for what?? I have no idea since I never use the darn thing.

Hey everyone

Jamie - congrats w/ appointment (finally)!

Hey Papcawn ;)

Our wedding date has been pushed back to June 3rd...but I'm looking into doing a JP ceremony (for immigration purposes) next Friday (L)

Question: what is the cost to file AOS? I went to the AOS thread and saw that forms I-485, I-765 and I-131 need to be filed (well 131 is optional), but I thought that when you file AOS, the fee for work authorization was included

someone please help!
