Hello everyone,

I am back, not by choice, however. I don't know how long I can do this. The depression when I come back is killing me. I don't know how some of you carried on a LDR for 2 or 3 years or longer. :crying: Well I need to catch up.

Welcome back Dru :luv:

:dance:HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAD BIRTHDAYS IN APRIL!!!

Have a great weekend (F)

Happy Birthday. Enjoy your Day (F)

Good morning everyone,

Jill although I am still in the beginning stages of the process, I will have to say I am just like Rhonda and I take over and fill out all the papaer work, although now that he is in JA and got to look at packet 3 he was a little over whelmed with the pepers that where in there, I told him just to fill out the medical form and a I have all the rest taken care of he said "thank goodness".

Hope everyone has a great day...my wedding shower is today at 5:30pm so I am kinda excieted about that, there should be about 20 people coming, we are having it at my favorite resturant which is a Japanese steak house, where they cook your food in front of you on a habachi grill. SO it should be fun!!

Joanna

Hope you had a wonderful time at the shower. Don't pull out that lingerie until he gets here!

hi everyone...quick question did everyone use the ds 156 form from VJ or from the electronic visa like it says on packet #3??? i guess there is a barcode that prints out that they use to scan?? i f anyone could let me know.. :help:

thanks

Shauna

Shauna, I tried to use the one from VJ but the bar code would not show up so I went to the web site that is says in packet 3...yes you have to have the bar code on it.

Hello, I am up getting ready for work.... :(

HAPPY BELATED B-DAY DEE!!!!

My shower was very nice last night  , I got $250.00 cash, best buy, victoria secret, bed bath and beyond gift cards and a gift card for a manicure and pedicure...got some of the things off my registery from bed bath and beyond (there was not many things on it), wedding cake serving set, my mom gave me a beautiful night gown, Food saver and a pressure cooker (thats what Adrian wanted).

One of my friends from work gave me a money tree, it was the cutest thing, looks like a plant but instead of leafs there was money tied on to the branchs, (what a great idea).

Hope every one has a great weekend!!

I have a topic starter for you guys. Is your husband/fiance going to apply to become a U.S. citizen eventually? What are the pros and cons of doing so? Tony doesn't want to give up his Jamaican citizenship, but I think I read somewhere that it's really difficult to get dual citizenship.

Also, did anyone know that to become a US citizen, you have to pass a big test about the US government, the Constitution, and US history? :o I didn't know this until the other day. I went on USCIS website and they have practice tests you can take on-line. I only got 41 right out of 60 questions :o Some of them are hard!! And I grew up here and I should know this stuff. It seems like it's very hard to get citizenship. They also have to take a test to see whether they can read, write, speak, and understand English. Tony might have some trouble here too with the reading and writing portions.

I'm wondering what everyone else thinks about all this.
