Also....i just started a new job and what i made for 2005 was very very under the poverty line...my last 2 returns were not...but i did get a letter from my emplyer stating how muc i make ect..is that ok that my last return was not over the poverty line??

In 2006 will you be over the 'poverty line?' If you will -- I would make sure that the letter from your employer makes it very clear why you didn't make over the 'poverty line' for 2005 and why you will make over the 'poverty line' for 2006.

I think if there is ANY QUESTION as to you NOT making over the 'poverty line' then you better get a co-sponsor.

Yeah Rohan is coming through JFK, I was told he doesnt have to ask for the temp work visa, I heard they give it automatically. I am finalizing where he will be staying tonight. Friday is coming sooooo slowly. I am so excited. He brought me another bridal set and said he will suprise me with it...HE wont even give me a description .

Are u all packed yet?

Can someone tell me your fiancee experience at the POE. THANKS ALL

Yeah Rohan is coming through JFK, I was told he doesnt have to ask for the temp work visa, I heard they give it automatically. I am finalizing where he will be staying tonight. Friday is coming sooooo slowly. I am so excited. He brought me another bridal set and said he will suprise me with it...HE wont even give me a description .

Not packed at all...I am kinda ####### when I pack..I take out all my clothes and lay them out into outfits and then starch/iron everything before I fold everything nicely and put it in my suitcase...

Suitto went through JFK and she said he didnt have any problems...also Adrian went through JFK last year when coming from Amsterdam going to Jamaica..the cruise ship booked his flight and only gave him 1 1/2 hour to get through customs and get to his next flight and needless to say he missed his flight and had to stay the night in New York ..but he did say that JFK was not that bad...

Since Adrian will be flying into JFK as POE (just to get the temp stamp) and then down to Orlando I am making sure he has at least 3+ hours before his flight to Orlando so he does not miss it.....

I am here at work trying to get 3 days of work done in 1. Not easy I am taking tomorrow off (obviously) but I have decided to take Friday off as well as a gift to myself for a job well done (hopefully)

So Joanna...I know I asked already but I don't think I saw a response...How big of a wedding are you having...how many people?

Sounds like a good plan. I am greatful Kingston has many straight flight to JFK. His tickets cost 320 and it was still cheaper than a round trip. I know he is a little nervous about flying for the first time, so I made sure the I booked a middle aisle seat. Although I am almost done with the K1 process I still have a journey ahead with the AOS. I havent even looked into that yet.

Well Jamie that is a very good question....I was planning about 50 people but I have a feeling it is going to be more then that...maybe 60-70??? I am sending out about 30 invites, so if everyone brings another person, right there that is 60 people...then some of my family are bringing kids so add a few more...then Adrian said there are some people in Jamaica that want to come....So I really have no idea...I would like about 50-60..if we go over 60 then we will go over budget oops..but that is mom and dads problems since they are paying (I know that is rude huh??)..dont tell them I said that!!!

Yeah Tenika there are a lot of flights to Orlando from Kingston also....we could save almost $200 if he didnt want to go through JFK to get the temp stamp...but it will make him feel better to have it, even if he does not get a job and thats all I want is for him to feel comfortable here...

OH my I for got to tell yall I went to weight watchers yesterday and lost another 2 lbs....so a total of 8 lbs...WOW I cant believe it!!!

I am so chatty today ...too bad Rhonda is here to join me...with her chatty self...

Good afternoon everyone.

Damien flew into BWI (Baltimore) with no immigration problems. Maybe because it was a late flight, 9:30 at night. It was also his first time flying. Boy, was I a nervous wreck.

When we went to JA last month, we flew through Ft Flauderdale in the middle of the day. It took him 1hr 1/2 to get through immigration. We missed our flight but we were prepared to catch the next one home. Damien travelled on his AP so they treated him like it was his first time in the country. If he had his green card then we could have stood in the US citizens/permanent resident line together.

Does anybody know an airline that might give discounted rates to a group going down to Jamaica from Chicago? I have 17 people flying down for my wedding and was wondering if we could get a discount for our group.

For all of us in IL I sure hope it gets warmer again like yesterday. Its freezing today ugh
