Some what the same as yours: Our one year goals include: to have at least half of the money to put down on a new house. We want to put down about 20,000$. To return to JA for our 1st anniversary with all my family, Finish my BSN so that I may apply for a masters program the following year. Hoping that Davids daughter is living with us, Praying for at least 12.00-15.00 and hour job for him so that ....Maybe, maybe, I could take some time off and start thinking about working on having a baby, I pray for a son. that;s about two years away, maybe three I'm already to old. Maybe the baby should come first.

we have 2 male dogs...how does this "condition" happen? Is there something I should be doing/know about?

I think some dogs have more problems than others. I'm not gonna jinx myself.....if you get my drift....

I take my dogs to the vet twice a year for check-ups. And I was boarding them (at the vet) at least twice a year also....when I would board them they would get baths and their nails done....dobermans look really cute with painted nails The groomer would take care of this for me. It's really, really, really gross. Just make sure when you take them to the vet for their shots that the vet checks for you.

We would like to but I'm not getting any younger It's a constant discussion in our house. We both want to be able to spend time together and do things without having to worry about who is going to take care of the kid(s). And children are soooo expensive. We're just gonna wait and see what happens down the road. Who knows....listen, I can barely keep three dogs, me and Roy alive

This time last year...I was heading down the JA for our interview. One year ago April 15...ahhh good times. Who would have thought we would have gotten denied and I'm still here with no JA man up here. YET!

Seriously, I'm surprised how fast this year went by. My day will soon come.

We'll we still talking about that. He's always saying says...."I chat to much". I was really interested in Eric's latest story and see if he go approved and or what they said to him. Otherwise, more phone bills that are insane and more travel to Jamaica. Just not as much since I have the house now. The K1 or K3 route is still up in the air. Thats why I put that poll on the yahoo site. I'm leaning towards getting married down there sometime. But then again....we still chattin about that. We got nothing but time. Thanks to him.....

Hypothetically - So if you get married now in JA and file for him late 2006 - mid 2007, come 2008 once you get approved he should be able to come over right?

In the next year I am hoping and praying for a lot of things…

-Things will have equaled out a lot more between Andre and I and he will have adapted to an even greater extent so we can enjoy marriage even more than we are now

-I will lose all the weight I have gained since getting married…it is so awful

-Andre will have a steady good paying job that he is happy with and content at doing

-I will be going to school to further my education

-We will have become full members of our church and really grow and learned more

-We will have started to learn another language (probably Spanish as it is so prevalent)

-We will visit all the friends and family back home in JA over the holidays

-NO babies…not yet…give me another year or two...or three

So true, I will not let it go again...I dont want to have to put medication in his butt again ...I feel so bad for him, he had to wear the cone around his head so he cannot lick and he kept running into things ...so mom and I went to the pet store and got him the little panties that they use for the female dogs during thier time of the month ...so it covers his butt and he cannot lick, it works out much better then the cone on the head

The vet said signs that a dogs ####### glands need to be excreted are:

Rubbing butt on floor or carpet

Looking back towards thier behind

Licking behind

She said most groomers will do it, but I dont take my dog to a groomer and I rarely took him to a vet....but she said every few months to bring him to the vet and have a tech. check him to see if they need to be excreted.

OK Mindy you had to ask...I was not going to share and put my dog business out there but if you really want to know he had an abscessed ####### gland (I know gross )...poor little thing at first it was a bump till he kept biting it and licking it and now he has 2 puncture wounds near his rectum. I guess it is my fault cause I didnt know that every now and then I was suppose to have his ####### glands excreted (YUCK)...so now he has a sore rump
